Chapter 3 - CH 3: HALFLING & SPAR

Yuji's POV

(A week before meeting Rob lucci)

While looking at the haki manuals a letter suddenly came out from the book. Looking at the letter I immediately opened it knowing that It must be came from the almight Bob-sama.

"Hello there Yuji, I know I did tell you that you I will give you some bonuses well I will give you a clue on on of the bonuses, I did gave you a body that contains the bloodline of a certain tribe, they were considered as a god before. So basically your a halfling, enjoy your new world

- Your one and only Bob"

Looking at the letter I suddenly got an Idea on what kinda tribe is that.

(Back to the present)

The air was thick with tension as Rob Lucci and I faced each other. His eyes bore into mine, and I could see the intensity and determination within them. This was a test of strength, and I knew it would not be easy.

"Alright, Yuji," Lucci said, his voice low and challenging. "Show me what you've got."

I grinned, feeling the adrenaline surge through my veins. "You asked for it."

Without another word, Lucci disappeared from my sight, using his incredible speed to close the distance between us in an instant. I barely had time to react as he launched a "Finger Pistol" at my chest. I twisted my body, narrowly avoiding the strike.

He reappeared behind me, aiming another "Finger Pistol" at my back. This time, I activated my Lunarian abilities, by extinguishing the flames on my back to propel myself forward, dodging his attack by a hair's breadth.

Lucci didn't let up. He was relentless, attacking from all angles with his speed and precision. I countered with my own speed, one of my traits Lunarian gives me the agility to evade his strikes when I don't have a flames on my back. But I knew I couldn't just keep dodging forever.

"Is that all you've got?" Lucci taunted, his voice echoing through the dense forest.

I smirked, deciding it was time to go on the offensive. I charged at him, my body enveloped in flames, and swung a powerful punch at his face. Lucci blocked it with his "Iron Body," the impact sending a shockwave through the clearing.

"Not bad," he said, his eyes glinting with respect. "But you'll need more than that to defeat me."

He launched himself into the air, using "Sky Walk" to gain altitude before diving down at me with incredible speed.

I braced myself, knowing I had to counter his aerial assault. As he descended, I unleashed a burst of fire from my back, propelling myself upward to meet him mid-air.

Our fists collided, creating a fiery explosion that illuminated the night sky. We were evenly matched, our strength and determination pushing us to our limits.

But I could see the fire in Lucci's eyes burning even brighter. This was not just a spar for him; it was a battle of resolve.

"You're strong," Lucci admitted, his breathing heavy. "But I won't hold back."

He disappeared again, using "Shave" to move at blinding speed. I focused, using my enhanced senses to track his movements.

When he reappeared, I was ready. I caught his arm mid-strike, my flames flaring as I twisted his arm and threw him to the ground.

Lucci recovered quickly, rolling to his feet and launching another "Finger Pistol" at my chest. This time, I didn't dodge. I let the attack hit, I activate my flame, my Lunarian durability absorbing the impact. The look of surprise on his face was priceless.

"Too weak, huh?" I said, mocking his earlier words.

Lucci's eyes narrowed, and he launched into a flurry of attacks, each one faster and more precise than the last. But I matched him, blow for blow, my flames and speed giving me the edge I needed.

We fought for what felt like hours, neither of us willing to back down. The forest around us bore the scars of our battle, trees charred and ground scorched. Finally, we both stepped back, panting and exhausted.

"You're... something else," Lucci admitted, his voice filled with grudging respect.

I smiled, feeling the same respect for him. "You're not too bad yourself."

Rob Lucci's POV

As I faced Yuji, I couldn't help but feel a mix of irritation and curiosity. This kid had a fire in him, literally and figuratively. His speed and strength were impressive, but I was determined to show him that he was still a long way from defeating me.

I used "Shave" to close the distance, my "Finger Pistol" aimed at his chest. He dodged with agility that surprised me, the dlame on his back disappeared propelling him out of harm's way. I kept up my relentless assault, but he matched me move for move, his Lunarian abilities giving him the edge he needed.

When he charged at me, flames enveloping his body, I knew this fight was going to be more challenging than I had anticipated. I blocked his punch with "Iron Body," the impact reverberating through my bones. The force of his attack was incredible.

"Not bad," I said, impressed despite myself. "But you'll need more than that to defeat me."

I used "Sky Walk" to gain altitude, diving down at him with all the speed I could muster. He met me mid-air, our fists colliding in a fiery explosion. The power of his flames was astounding, but I wouldn't let it intimidate me.

We fought fiercely, each of us pushing the other to our limits. Yuji's resilience and determination matched my own, and I found myself respecting him more with each passing moment.

"You're strong," I admitted, feeling the strain of the battle. "But I won't hold back."

I used "Shave" to move at blinding speed, hoping to catch him off guard. But he was ready, catching my arm mid-strike and throwing me to the ground. I recovered quickly, launching another "Finger Pistol" at his chest. This time, he didn't dodge. He let the attack hit, his durability absorbing the impact.

"Too weak, huh?" he said, mocking me.

His words stung, but they also fueled my determination. I launched into a flurry of attacks, each one faster and more precise than the last. But he matched me, blow for blow, his flames and speed giving him the edge he needed.

As the battle raged on, I couldn't help but feel a grudging respect for Yuji. He was a worthy opponent, and his strength and determination were undeniable.

Finally, we both stepped back, panting and exhausted. The forest around us was a testament to the intensity of our battle.

"You're... something else," I admitted, my voice filled with respect.

He smiled, his eyes reflecting the same respect. "You're not too bad yourself."

In that moment, I realized that maybe, just maybe, having a companion like Yuji on this island wouldn't be such a bad thing after all.
