Year 2: The Dawn of Civilization
---
1. The First Settlements:
The Dwarves begin constructing their first underground city, Kharak-Gron, deep within a mountain range. They focus on mining precious metals and gems, establishing early trade networks with Humans and Goblins.
Humans build their first surface settlements in the fertile plains, developing rudimentary farming techniques. Though not as physically strong as other races, their adaptability and desire for knowledge drive them to explore the land and form early alliances.
2. Goblins Expand Their Territory:
The Goblins spread through forests and underground caves, forming small tribes. Their cunning and resourcefulness allow them to survive in hostile environments. They begin to develop rudimentary weapons and traps, as well as basic forms of leadership. The Goblin tribes frequently clash with other races over territory, especially the Werewolves, whose forests overlap with Goblin land.
3. The Werewolves' Lunar Bond Deepens:
Werewolves further solidify their connection with the lunar cycles, becoming more attuned to the phases of the moon. They develop a culture of pack loyalty, with alpha leaders emerging based on strength and skill in battle. Under the influence of the Moon Goddess, the Werewolves experience strange visions, hinting at the deeper connection they have with the night and the moon's power.
4. Demons Grow in Strength:
Demons expand their influence underground, with powerful demon lords vying for control. They are drawn to conflict and begin raiding the territories of other races. Their society, based on strength and chaos, thrives on internal competition as well as external warfare. A notable Demonic city, Zorath, rises within the volcanic regions, becoming the capital of their dark empire.
5. Angels Remain Hidden:
The Angels, aware of the world but not yet fully engaged with it, remain in their secret sanctuaries. They observe the unfolding events with keen interest, silently preparing for their future role. A few begin to explore Tempest discreetly, gathering knowledge and understanding the nature of the other races.
6. The First Conflicts Begin:
Minor skirmishes break out between the Werewolves and Goblins over forest territories. These conflicts are the first signs of growing tensions between races, though they remain small-scale. The Demons, eager for battle, raid Human and Goblin villages, testing their strength against the weaker races.

Year 3: The Age of Early Alliances and Wars
---
1. The Human-Dwarven Pact:
Humans and Dwarves form the first formal alliance, driven by the need for mutual protection and trade. The Dwarves supply the Humans with advanced tools and weapons made from their mined metals, while the Humans share agricultural knowledge, ensuring a steady food supply for both races. Together, they begin constructing defensive settlements at the borders of their territories to fend off Demon raids.
2. Dragon-Titan Tension:
The powerful Dragons and Titans begin to assert their dominance over different regions of the continent. While they do not directly clash, tension grows between the two races as they vie for control of Tempest's natural resources and territories. The skies above the mountains and volcanic ranges become heavily contested as the Dragons stake their claim, while the Titans claim the earth below.
Both Dragons and Titans remain aloof from the other races, focusing on securing their realms and expanding their influence.
3. Demon Expansion and Early War:
The Demons, emboldened by their growing strength, launch coordinated raids against the surface races. Demon Lords emerge as powerful warlords, each seeking to claim greater dominion over Tempest. The first major battle occurs between the Demons and Humans, resulting in the destruction of several Human settlements near the volcanic borders.
The Dwarves intervene with their advanced weaponry, turning the tide of battle, though not without heavy losses. This marks the first significant war on Tempest—the Demon War of Year 3. The war leaves both sides battered, with no clear victor, but the surface races become more united in their resolve to defend against the Demonic threat.
4. The Rise of Early Kings:
In response to the increasing danger from Demons, some races begin to unify under singular leaders. The Humans crown their first king, Aldrin of the Plains, who leads the effort to fortify Human settlements and bolster alliances with other races. The Werewolves also see the rise of a powerful alpha, Krelos the Moon-Bound, who unites various packs to strengthen their defenses.
5. Demonic Civil War:
Internal strife among the Demons begins to surface, as powerful Demon Lords vie for control. This results in a brief period of Demonic Civil War, where factions within their ranks clash for supremacy. Though their society thrives on conflict, this internal battle temporarily halts their advances against the surface races, giving the other races time to regroup.
6. The Frozen North Awakens:
Deep within the icy northern regions, faint rumblings are felt as the presence of the Frozen God begins to stir. Though still sealed in ice, ancient prophecies foretell his eventual return. The Giants, who live closest to the Frozen God's prison, begin to notice strange omens in the weather, sensing the growing disturbance. They start preparing for what they believe could be a future calamity.
