Chapter 6 - ansestor god

Year 112: The Rise of the First Ancestral God – Gruk'thar the Goblin

---

1. The Great Escape:

In Year 12, during the height of Demon slavery, a cunning Goblin named Gruk'thar manages to escape from one of the most notorious Demon slave camps, located deep in the Zorath Mountains. Using his natural goblin wit and stealth, he evades capture and flees into the wild lands of Tempest.

Although physically weak compared to other races, Gruk'thar possesses an unyielding will to survive and grow stronger. He vows revenge on the Demons and desires to rise beyond the shackles of his race, whom many see as weak or subservient.

2. The Journey of 100 Years:

Gruk'thar spends the next century wandering the continent, using his time in hiding to study ancient ruins, arcane magic, and any forbidden knowledge he can find. In his travels, he uncovers forgotten relics of the ancient Titans and Dragons, as well as long-lost spells of unimaginable power.

He constantly evolves, going through the stages of the Tempestian Power System: from Beginner to Evolved, and beyond. By channeling dark magic and absorbing the life force of ancient artifacts, Gruk'thar accelerates his evolution to Hero, Legendary, and Demigod levels within decades, defying the natural limits of his goblin heritage.

3. A Fateful Encounter with Dragons:

During the 80th year of his journey, Gruk'thar encounters an ancient, slumbering Ancestral Dragon named Vaelorion, who had withdrawn from the world centuries before the Demon War. The Dragon is initially disdainful of the Goblin, viewing him as insignificant.

However, Gruk'thar manages to impress Vaelorion with his knowledge of forgotten dragonic lore and his thirst for power. Recognizing potential in this determined creature, Vaelorion imparts some of his Ancestral Blood to Gruk'thar. This bloodline fusion grants the Goblin unparalleled power and connects him to the primordial forces of the Dragons, setting him on the path to becoming something far greater than even the Dragons anticipated.

4. The Final Ascension – Becoming the First Ancestral God:

Over the last 20 years of his journey, Gruk'thar reaches the Transcended stage, defying all expectations for a Goblin. By continuously honing his abilities, absorbing power from ancient relics, and mastering arcane secrets, he prepares for his ultimate transformation.

In Year 112, atop the Worldpeak, the highest mountain on Tempest, Gruk'thar performs a ritual of unimaginable complexity, drawing upon the bloodline of Vaelorion and the ancient magic of the Titans and Dragons. The skies darken, and the earth trembles as Gruk'thar ascends to become the First Ancestral God of Tempest, defying all expectations of what a Goblin could achieve.

5. Gruk'thar the Ancestral God:

Now known as Gruk'thar, the Ancestral God of Transformation, his power is limitless. He commands the primal forces of both the Titan and Dragon bloodlines, along with his innate goblin cunning and adaptability. His control over magic, transformation, and the elements rivals that of the ancient gods themselves.

Gruk'thar is not only the first of his kind but also a living symbol that anyone, no matter their origin, can ascend to godhood if they possess enough willpower, knowledge, and desire.

6. Reactions from the Continent:

The emergence of Gruk'thar as the first Ancestral God sends shockwaves throughout Tempest. No one expected a Goblin to rise to such heights, especially one who had been enslaved by Demons.

Demons are filled with dread as they realize the slave they once tortured and abused has now become a being of unimaginable power, far beyond their reach.

The Dragons, led by Azryx the Infernal Wing, are split between awe and fear. Vaelorion, the Dragon who helped Gruk'thar, views him as a bridge between races, but others fear this new god will challenge their supremacy on the continent.

The Titans, including Thar'gul the Earthbreaker, see Gruk'thar as an enigma, unsure whether to treat him as an ally or an unpredictable threat.

The enslaved races—Humans, Dwarves, Goblins, and Gryphons—are inspired by Gruk'thar's rise. Many see him as a symbol of hope, proof that even the weakest can rise to greatness and potentially overthrow their oppressors.

7. Gruk'thar's Legacy:

Though Gruk'thar is now an Ancestral God, he does not immediately seek domination over the continent. Instead, he retreats into solitude, contemplating the nature of power and how to reshape the world. His ultimate goals remain unknown to most, though whispers of a future where races and powers intermingle begin to spread.

Some believe Gruk'thar will one day return to liberate the enslaved, while others fear he may establish a new order where only the strongest survive. For now, Gruk'thar watches over Tempest, silently planning his next move.
