Your hair like the void itself,

and eyes brightened with the sun,

wake up and look again,

finding something amiss.

I find your shadowy friend gone,

and no footprints,

beneath every step you take.

Dreams aren't real but they simply don't go.

The warmth we felt was a moment.

The hand we held, wasn't right,

But the thing we felt , felt right.

I knew this. I knew it is wrong.

But, can't I simply have this?
