Chapter 6 - Summer

When fall ends, and winter comes , I forgot about spring because summer will never be the same as that summer.

...

When fall ends, and winter comes with icy breath,

The world turns gray, and life seems so bereft.

Yet, in my heart, a memory still remains,

Of a summer that will never be the same.

Oh, that summer, bathed in golden sun's glow,

When love blossomed and dreams began to grow.

Each day was a symphony of laughter and cheer,

As we danced through gardens, devoid of fear.

But now, the seasons shift, as they must do,

And that cherished summer bids us adieu.

For spring arrives, yet brings no solace true,

For summer will never be as it once knew.

Yet, in my heart, that summer shall reside,

A treasure cherished, forever by my side.

Though seasons change, and time may try to tame,

That summer will never be the same.

...

When fall ends, and winter comes,

Forgotten is that vibrant spring,

For summer, too, will never be

The same as that summer, so wild and free.

Gone are the days of sun-kissed skin,

Of endless laughter and careless grins,

The warmth that wrapped around our souls,

Now replaced by frost, cold and bold.

The trees stand bare, stripped of their green,

Their branches reaching out, seeking a dream,

The earth lies quiet, covered in white,

A hushed stillness, the day turns to night.

No longer do we dance in fields of gold,

Or chase the waves as they unfold,

The ocean's roar, once a familiar tune,

Now silenced by winter's icy cocoon.

But in the midst of this frigid season,

A memory lingers, with no rhyme or reason,

That summer, where our hearts collided,

Leaving echoes of a love undivided.

Though the days grow short, and the nights grow long,

The warmth of that summer forever strong,

For in our souls, a flame still burns,

A reminder of a love that forever yearns.

So let fall end and winter come,

Let spring be forgotten, let it succumb,

For in our hearts, that summer remains,

A testament to love that forever reigns.

When fall ends, and winter comes,

The world turns cold, the air grows numb.

But oh, forget not about that spring,

For summer blooms, a joyous thing.

But alas, dear heart, let me proclaim,

That summer shall never be the same.

For the sun may shine upon the land,

Yet something's lost, slipping through our hands.

Gone are the days of carefree delight,

Of lazy afternoons and warm, starry nights.

The laughter fades, the memories wane,

As summer whispers a bittersweet refrain.

The vibrant hues, the scents in the air,

They hold a beauty beyond compare.

But in the depths of our longing souls,

We yearn for what once made us whole.

So let us cherish each fleeting day,

In this summer that's forever changed.

For though it may never be as before,

Its essence lingers, forevermore.
