Satisfied with their reactions she nodded to herself and walked to her bathroom. Coming back minutes later, she was surprised to see them still in her room. She thought they were long gone, leaving her alone to get ready.
"What are you guys still doing here? Hoping to see me naked?" She asked.
She stood by her bathroom door, her body cover with a white bathrobe as she dried her hair with a white towel.
"Please, don't pollute my mind with such an image. I won't be able to sleep due to nightmare," Andy cried out. Ivy was his sister, the last thing he wanted was to see her naked, even worst, imagine her naked.
"Ha ha," she forced a laugh and threw her wet towel on Andy.
He catch it with ease before throwing it back on her, which she was unable to catch, having it falls on the floor.
"You don't know what you are missing out, I'm a sight to behold," she bragged taking her towel off the floor.
"Where are we going?" she asked going in her dress room. She closed the door behind her.
"Where ever the wind bring us," Andy answered.
With his useless answer, Ivy decided to go with something simple like a pair of jeans and top, copying their attire. Judging from the simple way they were dressed, they weren't going anyway fancy. Then, she thought of something,
"Would the girls be present?" She asked. She completely forgot to asked it earlier though it won't have changed her decision to go
"Yeah," Andy answered.
Given the new piece of information, she decided against her first idea. With the two going, there were no way she was going with jeans. She didn't want to be in their shadow as usual. Having her invisible in the presence of the beauty that was Shirley. And even Bella, regrettably for her.
As she picked up her dress, she couldn't stop wondering why their presence changed anything. She never worried about such things, why now then? She questioned but decided to go with her second thought not wanting to feel pale in comparison.
"Your room didn't change at all. Still the same," Liam said while she was wearing her skirt.
"Yeah, my parents kept it as it. Coming back , I saw no issue into letting it be the same," she loved her room, no need to change anything.
"Ever thought of moving out. Why still living with your parents? Don't you want freedom?"
"When have I been lacking freedom? I do whatever I want, just have to inform them if I won't be coming home,"
"Exactly, if you were on your own, no more informing anyone,"
"And what is the good in it? I found it comforting to have to explain my way about. It makes me know people care about me." She lived alone for three years and the solitude she felt walking back in an empty room was something she could never get used to. She loved it better when being around people.
"So having to be accountable to Shirley feel like a lack of freedom to you?" She wondered.
"Not at all. On the contrary, I feel loved," a smile could be heard in his voice. She knew he was smiling, despite not seeing him.
"See?" It was exactly how she felt.
"Beside, you are the last person to talk about living alone," Andy started.
"You went from living with your parents to living with Shirley. You never experienced walking in an empty house, with only sound those you made," he lived alone since he entered college, just recently had Bella moved in with him. He knew what he was talking about.
"You make it sound depressing while others are telling me the contrary. How good it feels to have your own place and do what ever you want," Liam laughed.
"Never said it didn't have it's good side," Andy stated.
Done with her hair styling, she skip make up and only putted on sunscreen and hydrated her lips. Done, she smiled and walked out her dress room.
"Finally, we can go!" Andy exclaimed, already heading to the door.
"Heh! At least look at me," she complained.
"How do I look?" She turned around.
She settled for a long, fluid skirt, which reaches her ankle. Her white top, shoulders off, displayed her pale skin and cleavage. She had her long black hair fall on her shoulder.
"Beautiful," Liam said without a thought.
Andy just rolled his eyes and folded his arms, having no intention to say a word. Ivy glared at him, which he ignored and smiled to Liam, who replied with a wider one.
"I made it myself," she said all happy.
It changed Andy look on it, " and where did you find the time to do it, Miss I'm busy?" he asked.
"When I first arrived, I had some spear time," she explained while putting her necessities in her hand bag. Being done, she turned to them,
"Do I at least have the time to eat something Mr. kidnappers?"
"We would grab something outside," Andy said.
"Fast-food," she shouted happily.
"Now, we need to go. The girl would be waiting for us."
"Where are they by the way? Why didn't they came with you?" She asked.
He shrugged, "No reason in particular," he said but they all knew the reason.
"Anyway, I have already informed them we were on the way ten minutes ago, we should hurry," he pressed them.
Walking ahead of them, they walked down the stairs. Seeing neither of Ivy parents they continue their way out, having no time to look for them. Outside, two cars was waiting for them. Liam's and Andy's .
At the question on which one Ivy would get in was no need to be asked, as always, she was riding with Liam. It has always been as such and Andy found no fault in it. He understood her feelings.
That was why, when she shouted, " I'm going with Andy," while running to his car, they all shared a look.
What the fuck?
"What are you guys still doing there? Aren't we late?" she asked already taking her seat on the front chair. With a shared confused look, they went each in their car, not knowing more surprise would be waiting for them.
