The system had given me a new task: to uncover the truth behind my supposed death. Clara would know more; I had to find her.
As I walked, servants passed by, bowing politely without sparing me a glance. Good. Blending in was important if I was going to get to the bottom of this mystery.
Finally, I spotted Clara just outside the library, tucked away in a corner reading where no one would notice us. She gave a small wave, her eyes darting around to make sure we were alone before I approached her.
Taking a deep breath, I walked over, feeling excited but also anxious. Clara had already helped me before, and I had a feeling she was holding onto even more.
"Princess Isabella," She greeted softly, glancing over her shoulder.
"Hi, Clara. It's nice to see you again. Do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions?" I replied, sitting next to her.
