He faces two skeletons now, their weapons raised. The sharp pain in his chest grows more intense as he charges at them, the adrenaline blinding him to the breaking point of his body.
He sidesteps one attack but is caught by the second, the sword grazing his side and sending him stumbling. The pain jolts him, but he fights through it, rolling back to his feet and countering with a fierce swing.
Legion feels something snap in his shoulder as he connects with the skeleton's ribcage, but he doesn't stop. Instead, he channels the pain into his next move, slashing at the remaining skeleton and driving it to the ground.

As the battlefield quiets, he gasps for breath, his body trembling under the weight of his exhaustion. He feels his muscles tearing, fibers snapping as he continues to push through the pain. Each heartbeat feels like a drum echoing in his ears, reminding him of the limits he's surpassing.
Legion takes a step forward, but his leg buckles beneath him, the pain finally becoming unbearable. He falls to one knee, panting heavily, but he can't afford to give up.
"Just a little further…" he whispers to himself, gripping his sword tightly as he rises again, determined to face the last of the skeletons.
But the darkness within him stirs, a hunger for power that pushes him beyond sanity. Legion feels a surge of energy as he draws on that darkness, letting it course through him, breaking his body's limitations.
"More power…" he growls, channeling the memories of his past self, his movements becoming frenzied and erratic. With every swing, he risks tearing more muscles, the cracks in his bones becoming sharper, but he refuses to relent.
He launches himself at the remaining skeletons, a whirlwind of raw power and desperation. The world around him spins, the line between pain and ecstasy blurring as he dances between life and destruction.
Just breathe! Once I can breathe I can fight!
The last skeleton stands before him, towering and menacing. Legion's vision narrows, the pain sharpening his focus as he charges forward. He swings with everything he has left, feeling the fabric of his body ripping under the strain.
He doesn't care. All he knows is victory. The sword connects with the skeleton's skull in a glorious clash of bone and metal, and in that moment, he feels a thrill of triumph, the rush of power coursing through him, even as his body begins to betray him.

Finally…
But as the final skeleton collapses, Legion stumbles backward, the darkness in him surging as his vision fades. He falls to the ground, feeling the sharp pain of his broken body finally catch up to him. The world around him begins to blur as he gasps for breath, the last remnants of his strength slipping away.
With the battlefield quiet, he lies there, the weight of his sacrifices pressing down on him.
"I'm still breathing…" he murmurs.
Without a minute to delay, Kyree and Cinder dashes up, and stop right at the side of him.

"Legion!" Cinder calls out his name, but he can barely hear them. "Legion!" He shouts again. "Can't you heal him!" Cinder turns to Kyree.
"No, not like this only the outside wounds not inside." He utters softly looking at his bruised body, with open wounds he could heal but it wouldn't do anything for him at this point.
[Wave cleared!}
Legion manages to make out the flickering light hovering above him.

Slowly everyone begins to disappear, but Kyree looks down at Legion and Cinder before going. "Where do you reside?" He inquires, looking as determined as ever.
"Why do you want to know?" Cinder questions.
"Just tell me." He urges.
"We live in an orc's stronghold on a snowy mountain," Cinder replies confused.
"Alright then." He smiles warmly. "I'll find you! And you guys can join the ac-" He is cut off as they all return to their homes.

Laying there the snow intertwined with his hair, as his body pain leisurely subsided. One by one he moves his fingers to make sure they're still working, so he moves on to move his limbs, they are numb but nothing seems broken like before.
I did it…I survived and gained something.
It wasn't for nothing.
