Leonis focused, anticipating the wolf's next move.

His senses heightened, and his presence grew menacing.
The wolf reappeared, hesitating.
Leonis seized the moment.
"Now!" he shouted, slashing his sword.
The wolf tried to dodge, but Leonis' Perception guided his strike.
The sword bit deep.

He sprinted toward the dense foliage.
The Nightshade Wolf followed, its eyes fixed on its prey.
Leonis dove into the thicket, holding his breath.
The wolf charged in, its larger size hindering navigation.
Leonis waited, sword at the ready.
As the wolf passed, Leonis struck.

Leonis reached the waterfall's edge and veered sharply right.
He hid behind a sturdy tree, panting heavily.
The roar of the waterfall masked his ragged breathing.
Leonis peeked around the tree, watching the wolf.
The Nightshade Wolf slowed, confused by the sudden disappearance.
It sniffed the air, circling the waterfall.
Leonis held his breath, hoping the wolf wouldn't find him.
Leonis gripped his sword tightly, awaiting the perfect moment.
The Nightshade Wolf edged closer, its snout twitching.

Leonis burst from behind the tree, unleashing a mighty swing.
All his strength and adrenaline fueled the blow.
The sword sliced through the wolf's defenses.

A pine tree's branches scratched his arm, sending pain searing through his limb.

The wolf's relentless assault had turned the forest into a deadly gauntlet.
Leonis knew he had to act fast – or become the wolf's next victim.
Leonis dodged and weaved, avoiding tree after tree as they crashed down around him. The wolf's Claw Slasher skill seemed endless, but he knew it couldn't sustain forever.
Finally, the wolf roared, unleashing one final, mighty slash.
"RRRAAAAGH!" it bellowed, expending its last reserves of mana.
Leonis leapt to the side, but the attack's edge caught him.

He stumbled, pain coursing through his body.
But the Nightshade Wolf's triumphant cry was short-lived.
Its body trembled, eyes glazing over.
The wolf's mana was depleted.
It entered a fainted state, collapsing to the ground.

Leonis panted, relief washing over him.
He'd survived the wolf's onslaught.
But his own injuries were severe.
Leonis unleashed a relentless assault, striking the wolf's lifeless body.

With each blow, he vented his pent-up frustration.
Finally, exhausted, Leonis stopped.
The wolf's body lay motionless.
Leonis caught his breath, rationality returning.
