Khloe's POV
For a moment, I didn't say a thing as I kept staring at Nevian who was flipping through the documents I haven't read through.
"You don't have to bother about me." I flashed him a coy smile. "It's nothing serious, I will handle this myself." I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
"Not with that shaky voice." This time around, I was convinced that he was mocking me but I couldn't say it out as I was duly embarrassed.
Rubbing my nape, I pushed my hand off my face before taking a sip from my glass.
"What are you going to do?" I asked, drumming my fingers against the table with my gaze on him.
Biting the edge of my lips, I tried to come up with an idea as I did want to solely depend on him but since this is my first time dealing with something of this sort, I had no idea how to go about it.
"I already sent her a message, we will be meeting for her breakfast." He said, showing me the screen of his phone.
