Lance's POV
Khloe was taking longer than expected and so I began to wonder what might be the issue.
To be certain she hadn't left me behind, I made enquiries from the waiter who had served us and after getting a negative response, my gaze never left the exit door.
While I was staring with my glass of wine against my lips, I saw Nevian walking in and immediately, I spat out the content of my mouth.
Gripping the edge of the chair I was occupying, I allowed my eyes to follow him until he got to the counter.
For more than ten minutes, he was loitering about like he owned the place.
It was when I wanted to accost him that I remembered he actually owned the restaurant, causing me to facepalm myself in anger.
The resentment I had for him doubled when father announced him as his heir and ever since then, I had vowed to stay off his turf and at the same time plot my next course of action - that was to take him down.
