The light of dawn filtered through the leaves of the forest, creating a play of shadows and sparkles on the ground. Jotaro now 15 years old took a deep breath, filling himself with the freshness of the morning as he made his way to the place where they used to meet. The echoes of his childhood laughter still echoed in his mind, but now, instead of sadness, he felt a renewed determination.
Arriving at the spot, he found Kira sitting on a log, looking up at the sky. Her expression reflected peace and concentration, as if she was mapping it out in her mind. Jotaro approached her with a smile.
-Good morning, Kira! -he greeted her, and she turned around, her face lighting up with a wide smile.
-Good morning, Jotaro! -she replied. I was thinking about our next adventure, how about exploring a new corner of the forest today?
Jotaro felt his heart settle at the idea. The thrill of going outside made him forget, if only for a moment, the heaviness of his sleep and his painful past.
-Sounds great. There's a trail we haven't explored yet. We could see if we find anything interesting," he said, as they started walking together.
As they walked through the forest, Jotaro realized that the connection with Kira made him feel stronger. They shared stories, laughter and dreams, creating a new future together in this unknown world.
As they moved forward, they came across a crystal clear stream meandering through the rocks. The sound of the flowing water was soothing, and Jotaro could not help but stop to contemplate the beauty of the place.
-This is beautiful," he murmured, looking at the glints of sunlight on the water.
Kira approached the edge of the stream, dipping her toes into the cool water. -Yes, this place has always seemed magical to me. Nature has a way of healing us, don't you think?
-Yes, definitely," Jotaro nodded, watching the water flow steadily. It reminds me that, although there are things we can't change, there is always beauty to be found if we look hard enough.
Kira looked at him, understanding the deep truth in his words. The conversation flowed between them like water in the stream, natural and necessary.
Suddenly, a glow caught Jotaro's attention. Bending down, he saw something shiny among the stones. He approached it, and picking it up, realized it was a small amulet, carved in the shape of a tree with delicate leaves.
-Look at this, Kira," he said, showing it to her. What do you think it means?
Kira examined it closely. -A tree... can symbolize life, growth and connection. Perhaps someone left it here as a reminder that even in adversity, there are always opportunities for rebirth.
Kira's words resonated in Jotaro's heart. That amulet was a perfect symbol for what they were both experiencing. As they held the amulet in their hands, they felt a deep connection not only with each other, but also with the world around them.
They were ready to face whatever came, together, with a desire to grow and learn.
-We'll keep it as a reminder," said Jotaro, smiling at Kira. -A symbol of our friendship and what we overcame.
-Yes, let's keep it in a special place," she replied, smiling.
The day progressed as they continued to explore the forest, laughing and enjoying every moment. Each step took them a little further away from their past, and a little closer to their future. However, their joy would be briefly interrupted.
As they moved deeper into the forest, an eerie silence began to envelop the atmosphere. Jotaro frowned, sensing something wasn't right.
-Kira, did you feel that? -he asked, lowering his voice.
-Yes, it's as if nature stopped... -Kira answered cautiously, looking around.
Suddenly, a group of figures emerged from the trees, surrounding them. They were rough men, armed and with menacing looks. The leader, with a prominent scar on his face, smiled sinisterly.
-It seems we have unwanted visitors," said the leader, his voice full of disdain. Hand it over, or suffer the consequences.
Jotaro felt a rush of power surging within him. Without even thinking, he stood in front of Kira, determined to protect her.
-We have nothing to give them," Jotaro replied, his voice resonant and packed with determination. If they want to fight, then they would have to face me.
The thieves laughed, underestimating his resolve. But when Jotaro stepped forward, the tension in the air changed. His presence became almost palpable, as if the air itself was bowing to his strength.
One of the thieves charged at him with an axe, but Jotaro, with a nimble movement, deflected the attack with one hand. The thief was stunned, and Jotaro seized the opportunity to counterattack with a blow that threw him into a tree.
Kira watched, dumbfounded, as Jotaro seemed almost unstoppable. Holding unwavering confidence, every attack at him missed, as he responded with precise blows that left the thieves confused and demoralized.
When the last of the men was felled by Jotaro's power, the leader, filled with rage, tried to flee, but Jotaro quickly caught up with him. With a nimble movement, he held him back.
-I will not let you escape," said Jotaro, looking him straight in the eye. You will never threaten anyone in this forest again.
The trembling man nodded, and Jotaro released him, allowing him to flee. They were just bandits, but each of them had underestimated the power Jotaro had discovered in himself.
Kira approached Jotaro, still impressed. -I didn't know you had so much power... It was incredible!
Jotaro smiled, adrenaline still flowing in his system. -We should never underestimate what we are capable of doing when we fight for what we love.
-Thank you for protecting me," said Kira, her gaze conveying gratitude.
-Always," replied Jotaro, feeling that the connection between them made them invulnerable.
Together they left the place, with the amulet still in their hands, ready to face the next challenges the world would present them. Their friendship would become their greatest strength, and together, they knew they were prepared for whatever adventure awaited them.
As the sun set, drawing a canvas of colors in the sky, Jotaro and Kira looked ahead, confident that their path, though uncertain, was full of promise and opportunity.
The atmosphere of the forest was beginning to fade as Jotaro and Kira moved away from the site of the confrontation. The fresh, invigorating air now seemed like a relief after the tension of moments before. Jotaro walked steadily, but his mind still revolved around the confrontation with the thieves.
-That leader thought he was so cunning," Jotaro said, frowning as he looked ahead.
Kira nodded, her expression still full of admiration. -You were amazing, Jotaro. I didn't know you fought so well.
Kira's words slipped through Jotaro's heart, but at the same time evoked a mixture of emotions. -I remind you that I'm a demigod," he replied with a tone of pride. I'm strong, but... not as strong as my parents...
Jotaro's voice trailed off at the mention of his parents. A shadow of sadness passed over his face, and Kira, realizing that she had touched a sensitive subject, decided to intervene quickly.
-Hey, Jotaro, how about when we get home we sleep together? -he suggested with a playful smile, trying to change the atmosphere.
Kira's proposal caused Jotaro to stop in his tracks, overwhelmed. -SLEEP TOGETHER? -he exclaimed, somber and nervous. His cheeks flushed instantly.
Kira, with a mischievous grin, replied, "Of course, intruder. We could do little things.
-BUT I'M ONLY 15 AND YOU'RE 18! -Jotaro shouted, feeling overwhelmed with surprise and confusion.
Kira laughed at Jotaro's overreaction. -So what's wrong with him? I don't see what's wrong with it," he said, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
-BUT I DO! -he replied, grimacing uncomfortably. His mind was a whirlwind between surprise and his own youth.
Kira smiled as she realized that Jotaro, though nervous, was putting aside his thoughts about his parents. As they continued walking, Kira continued to talk about light things, such as their adventures at the temple and the stories they had heard from the village elders near the temple. Jotaro joined the conversation, laughing and enjoying the moment. They forgot, if only for a moment, the emotional burden they sometimes carried.
Finally, they arrived at the temple, where the peace of the place contrasted with the hustle and bustle outside. As they entered, they felt the fresh air and tranquility that always enveloped their sacred home. Jotaro felt comforted by the familiar routine of the temple.
-Well, I guess it's time to rest," said Kira, looking down the hallway.
Jotaro nodded. -Yes, good rest.
Although, inside, he still felt a little uneasy after the conversation they had had. They both said goodbye with a knowing smile.
They went into their respective rooms, the separation giving them a new perspective on their day. Jotaro settled into his futon, contemplating what had happened, the confrontation with the thieves and the way Kira had supported him.
As he closed his eyes, he thought about how Kira's friendship always managed to pull him out of his sadness. With his mind lighter, he drifted into a peaceful sleep, dreaming of future adventures, and how, one day, he could overcome the shadows of the past to become the demigod he truly wished to be.
In the next room, Kira lay back on her futon, smiling at the thought of the crazy conversation they had just had. kira, understood that in their little temple bubble they had a special bond, one that promised to grow and blossom with each new day. With that thought in mind, she drifted off to sleep, ready to face whatever tomorrow might bring.
Sunlight filtered through the temple windows, illuminating Jotaro's room. He awoke slowly, feeling the heavy blanket of sleep still hanging from his eyes. He tried to get up, but as he did, he noticed that something was keeping him in bed. Looking down, he was surprised to find that Kira was sleeping peacefully on his chest.
-What is Kira doing here? -Jotaro thought, feeling redder and redder with embarrassment. As his heart beat rapidly, he wondered why Kira wasn't in her own room.
At that moment, Kira stirred and woke up, rubbing one eye with her fist. -Good morning, Jotaro! -she said in a voice still full of sleep.
-Good morning to you too, Kira," he replied, still dazed by the situation.
After a short silence, Jotaro, nervous, decided to ask her a question. -Hey, Kira, can I ask you a question?
-Yes, sure," she said with a smile.
-What are you doing on my futon? -Jotaro asked, trying to sound serious despite the complicated situation.
Kira covered her mouth in a mischievous giggle. -It's just that when I was sleeping, I felt like going to the bathroom. I went, and when I came back, I saw your room... I couldn't resist the urge to spy on you while you were sleeping, and after a while, I got sleepy and got into your futon and fell asleep," he explained.
-Are you serious? -said Jotaro in a slightly louder tone, trying to process what he had just heard.
-Yes!" replied Kira, smiling as she threw herself back onto his chest.
-Okay... Hey, Kira, can I tell you something? -asked Jotaro.
-Of course, Jotaro," she said.
-You can get off me," he said with a smile.
-No, I refuse," answered Kira with determination.
-WHY NOT? -asked Jotaro.
-Because it's not 'no'," she replied firmly.
-Come on, Kira, please get up. I feel like going to the bathroom," begged Jotaro.
-I don't want to," said Kira, clinging to his chest like a baby monkey clinging to its mother.
-If you don't get up, I'm going to have to punish you," warned Jotaro, trying to sound serious.
-Jiji, I want to see you try," Kira challenged, with a mischievous chuckle.
-"Okay, you asked for it," said Jotaro with renewed determination. He grabbed Kira's head and, with a flash of lightning magic, threw a small spark at her. Kira fell to the ground in surprise.
Jotaro rose from his futon, smirking. -I warned you, but you didn't listen to me," he said as he headed for the bathroom, enjoying his small triumph.
After the little incident, Kira got up, still laughing, while Jotaro prepared to leave for the forest. Before long, they were both gearing up for the adventure.
-You're ready! -Jotaro shouted from outside the temple.
Kira, hurrying to change, ran out of the room with a beaming expression. -I'm ready! Let's go, Jotaro!
-You shouldn't have rushed, besides... why did you put on those adventurous clothes? -he asked, looking at her with a mixture of amusement and reproach.
Kira shrugged her shoulders. -It's better than wearing the same clothes all the time.
Jotaro, realizing that she was referring to him, felt slightly annoyed, but at the same time, he couldn't help but recognize that the clothes fit him very well. -Those clothes fit you very well, Kira.
Kira blushed and replied in an angry tone: "Shut up!
They both burst out laughing, enjoying the moment and leaving any awkwardness behind. With the good mood present, they headed to the forest, ready to explore and face new adventures together, in a day that promised to be unforgettable.
As Jotaro and Kira walked through the dense forest, the atmosphere felt vibrant and full of life. The sun's rays filtered through the leaves created an effect of light and shadow that enveloped them as they shared laughter and commented on the creatures they saw along the way.
Suddenly, a wriggling movement caught Jotaro's attention. A few meters away from them, a giant snake appeared, its scales glistening in the sun. Jotaro turned to Kira, his gaze reflecting determination.
-Kira, let's go hunt it down! -he declared excitedly.
With a nimble movement, they attacked the snake. After a brief but intense fight, they managed to kill it.
-That snake was very elusive," said Jotaro, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
-You're right. Good thing we killed it," replied Kira, smiling in relief.
Jotaro nodded, but suddenly his ears registered a murmur in the distance. He quickly crouched down and said: -Duck!
Kira obeyed, they both hid behind a bush. Curious, Jotaro decided to peek out to investigate where the voices were coming from. As he peeked out, he saw a group of people in armor on horses.
-Could they be guards from a nearby kingdom? -he thought, as uncertainty grew inside him.
-Hey, Jotaro, what do you see? -whispered Kira.
-There are some guards on horses," he answered, leaving his thoughts aside.
-We'd better go before they realize we're here," suggested Kira, looking uneasy.
Jotaro nodded, and as they moved stealthily, Kira's foot stepped on a branch that creaked noisily. Immediately, the guards halted their horses and the leader shouted:
-Is anyone there?
Without much choice, Jotaro stood up and, somewhat nervously, said: -Hello!
Seeing that Jotaro had fox ears and a tail, along with clothes that only demigods wore, the guards showed signs of relaxation. The leader addressed him seriously.
-Hey, demigod, what are you doing here alone? You shouldn't be in a temple waiting for offerings from the people," he said in an authoritative voice.
Jotaro, stunned, looked for an excuse that didn't sound too childish or dangerous. -Hey, I got lost," he replied, uncomfortably.
-Okay, how about we take you back to your temple? -proposed the leader of the guards.
-No, thanks. I'm fine here, but... are you far from your temple or near? -asked the leader.
-I'm close, so I'll be fine," said Jotaro.
-But watch out for monsters. -said the leader.
With that, the guards left. Kira stood up and let out a sigh of relief. -That's good, they're gone.
-Yes, but... why are there guards here in the forest? -Jotaro questioned, frowning.
-I don't know, but we'd better keep exploring," replied Kira, with determination.
As they continued on their way, the day passed between monster hunting and laughter, until they followed a rabbit with the idea of selling its meat in the village near the temple. When they reached a hill, Jotaro suddenly stopped in surprise.
Kira, seeing that he had let the rabbit escape, asked him, "What's wrong? Why did you let it get away?
Turning around, he realized that before them stretched an impressive kingdom, with high walls and flags fluttering in the wind.
-Shall we go? -Jotaro asked, slightly excited.
-Let's go! -replied Kira with an infectious smile.
They both started walking towards the kingdom, their hearts filled with anticipation for the adventure that awaited them. As they got closer, the distant murmur of kingdom life grew louder, reminding them that there was much to discover.
