"Tanya, he's Peter, the new trainer." She explained while pointing at Peter who was standing beside her, "He has some ability to find what a person needs to be stronger, or so he said. He might be able to help you pass your bottleneck."
"Oh?" The blonde girl looked at him with interest, "A new trainer? Are you sure? Not that I am doubting you, but he's a man."
She sounded skeptical at first but the last sentence sounded more like she was worried about his ability. The tone was way too familiar for Peter, who experienced the same thing himself outside the hospital.
"Don't worry about me." He said, "I am quite experienced, if I do say so myself. Would you mind telling me how you usually train? Maybe I can see what you're lacking."
"Hoh?" Tanya stared at him as if she wanted to gauge whether he was telling the truth or not.
Seeing the confident look on his face, she decided to humor him and nodded her head, "I usually did a lot of cardio like running, squatting, jumping rope... I also did yoga... The basics, I guess. That's all. And maybe meditation to circulate my mana. My Awakener Ability is Light Magic, that's why I often do meditation under the sun or in a bright place."
"Really? Nothing else?"
"Nope."
Peter wanted to sigh so hard seeing her answer. Even a newbie would know she did it wrong.
'That's why her Mana is so low compared to her focus. She's not even trying to use her ability or magic at all.'
"Who's your teacher?" He couldn't help but ask who taught her such a stupid method.
Tanya looked at Ava. That was enough of an answer.
Turning to the gym owner, Peter held his head.
"Are you an idiot? Did you even think before you train someone?! Just meditation? Her Mana won't increase that way, making her stuck like this!"
"So what? I don't have any magic. And what do you know about it? You're just a weak man!"
"And you're just stupid." Peter said without hesitation. "But at least I know some basics about Mana since my Awakener Ability is to optimize people's training method for them to become stronger. With something as simple as this, I believe I can help her. No, I will help her."
He walked toward Tanya and stood beside her before turning to the girl.
"This is my advice, based on what I can see in her training. Try to use Mana and Light Magic while you're running at a constant pace. Just a simple Light Magic such as 'Light' would be enough. Do this until you're exhausted. A repetition is important, but the control over the magic and how long you can use it before you lose control over it is even more important."
He decided to teach her a method he used before with his own magic.
In the dungeon, he had no Awakener Ability at all. He had to learn everything by trying. Magic, Swordsmanship, Spearmanship, everything had to be learned manually. And he found the best method for all of them.
'The system just makes it easier. Everyone has a different training method, so it's perfect.'
"Hah, such a thing. Will that even work?" Ava was skeptical about his training method for Tanya, "Just using mana while training won't make you stronger."
She must have learned the training method from someone because she looked convinced that the method she told Tanya was correct.
"Just try it."
However, Peter had never heard of the training method from someone else. He learned and proved it himself. So he was better.
"The result will show after you are done."
Tanya looked at him and nodded. There was nothing to lose since she was already stuck at that bottleneck and couldn't become stronger anymore. So she decided to try it.
"I understand," She said with a small nod as she looked at Peter with a little bit of hope in her eyes, "But if this doesn't help me break through my bottleneck today, then you should grant my wish. No matter what you know, you're just a weak man." She licked her lips like a predator staring at its prey.
"O-okay?" He was surprised by the sudden request and that kind of reaction too, but he couldn't turn her down when she was depending on him. "Fine. You may request one thing from me."
"Hey, are you sure about it?" Ava protested behind him. "You're a man. You shouldn't promise a girl something like that."
"Why?" Peter replied, something still didn't click in his head.
"Even if Tanya looks innocent, she's pretty pent up inside from hitting the bottleneck. She might eat you up." The green-haired girl whispered in his ears that his spine tingled, "Girls these days are especially horny toward male Awakeners, so be careful."
Peter then realized that Ava's body was way too close to him for his comfort as he felt something soft pushing on his back. But that wasn't his focus.
Eating him up? The innocent-looking blonde haired girl?
He looked at Tanya who prepared the treadmill for her training. Her ass was raised toward him in a sexy pose, showing her perfect round ass that could fit in his palms perfectly. Even the sultry look she threw him didn't help his imagination.
'I would welcome her with open arms.'
"Are you sure your training method works?" Ava whispered to him again, but this time, her chest was pressed against his back. It was soft.
He was so distracted that he barely heard what she said. But he gave her an answer anyway.
"It will work."
Even if it didn't, the worst thing was getting eaten up. And for him, that was a reward.
"She will break through her bottleneck when the sun is down."
After the preparation was complete, Tanya began her training just like what Peter said. She ran at a steady pace while also using her Light Magic skill. Not a skill that could injure someone but just a simple one that could make a light sphere with a glowing effect that changed in color according to the user's will.
A ball of light orbited around her as she ran around the gym, bouncing with each step she made and leaving afterimage. This continued for half an hour without stopping and her control over it became better as she kept using it while running at full speed.
Watching her from the side was Peter with a smile on his face. He monitored her growth with his Trainer Eyes, knowing that it wouldn't be long until she broke through the bottleneck.
Because Tanya wasn't officially his 'disciple' yet, he couldn't really use his Trainer Hands to maximize the efficiency or share her status. But this was just a start to get the job secured.
Ava was watching beside him. She looked bored at first, but slowly she became more excited when she noticed Tanya's progress with her training.
'Is that the method from a dungeon?' She thought.
This method was similar to what she was taught but had a few differences in which this one required more concentration as she had to run while chanting the magic and activating it. She had never tried it before as it looked tiring.
'Tanya activates her magic faster and faster. As well as maintaining it for a longer period.' She admired Peter's teaching method because she knew better than anyone else how hard it was to control one's mana and magic.
'Damn it! I hate to admit but this man is good. I hate it because Rasha was the one recommending him, but he's a genuine good trainer. I will make him mine. I would be a fool if I miss recruiting him because of a mere pride.''
Time passed fast as the sky began to turn orange before it turned dark blue when it was nighttime. At that time, Tanya was starting to struggle to maintain her magic as she used it for almost 6 hours straight so she stopped.
Sweat drenched her body and her breath was rough and shallow. Her chest moved up and down with each breath she took while looking at Peter and Ava, who had been watching her all this time.
"It...worked..." She exclaimed with a strained voice and her body swaying slightly left and right. She walked toward Peter and lost her balance.
"Oops!" He caught her before she fell and carried her bridal style, "Let's get you some water first."
