Tim Wake hurriedly fled from the Martyr's Monument Park, a feeling of fear overtaking him. The mysterious sound echoed in his mind, as if it were chasing him from every direction. The farther he ran, the louder the sound became, whispering in his ear as if calling him. He couldn't understand what was happening, but he felt that something larger than himself was pursuing him.
When he reached the street, he took a deep breath, but his heart was pounding rapidly. He feared he might encounter something mysterious, something incomprehensible. Nevertheless, he continued to run, distancing himself from the ball, the sound, and everything that made him feel afraid.
When he returned home, his thoughts were disordered. He tried to sleep, but he couldn't. He felt something encircling him, that mysterious sound that wouldn't leave his mind. He lay on the bed, tossing and turning, but every time he closed his eyes, the sound returned to chase him.
The next morning, Tim woke up feeling exhausted. He hadn't slept well, and all that was running through his mind was that ball and the strange sound. He decided he needed to know more and that he had to return to the Martyr's Monument Park.
He prepared to go, and when he arrived at the park, the sunlight shone brightly, but the shadows concealed some of the fear he felt. He wasn't sure what he would encounter there, but his heart insisted that he must know the truth.
"Maybe the answers are here," he whispered to himself as he headed toward the spot where he had met Beberis. He hoped that the young man who would become part of something greater was ready to face his destiny.
Tim took hesitant steps toward the place where he had met Beberis. His heart was racing, and his mind was filled with questions. "Will he tell me what's going on?" he wondered to himself, as his feeling of anxiety grew.
As he approached Prince Beberis, he felt something strange drawing him toward him, and he realized that Tim might have sensed something unusual. "Did you hear the sound?" Prince Beberis whispered to himself, carefully watching Tim. Then he looked at the young man and said, "There's no need for you to know, my son. This ball is not something you can bear."
But Beberis's words didn't reassure Tim. In fact, they only made him angrier. "Shut up!" he yelled. "Because of that sound, I couldn't sleep! It was a terrifying sound! It was calling me from inside that ball, and I know you're hiding something from me!"
Beberis felt a mix of confusion and astonishment as he watched Tim, then sighed and said softly, "Alright... I'll show you. But you must calm down first."
Then, with a swift motion, he gently placed his hand on Tim's head, and Tim didn't realize that Beberis had transferred a small amount of energy to him without him noticing. Suddenly, Tim felt a slight change in his state, as if something had calmed him. A strange feeling of tranquility spread through his body, as if some energy had transferred to him, making him inexplicably calm.
Beberis slowly pulled the ball from his pocket, his eyes closely watching Tim's reaction. As he took it out, Tim suddenly felt something strange, as if the ball had become more than just a physical object. He felt something pulsating inside it, something non-human. He couldn't explain it.
"What...?" Tim whispered as he approached the ball. He felt something akin to a heartbeat, but it wasn't a human heart. Something inside him felt strange.
Beberis looked at Tim and said calmly, "Now you know. But don't think it's simple. This ball is not just a material object. It is part of a greater power, and you are now part of that power."
Tim, still questioning and unable to understand what was happening, looked at Prince Beberis and asked, "Who are you? Where did you come from?"
Beberis closed his eyes slightly, then lifted his head and said softly, "I am not from this world; I come from another realm. I came here to find who would be my apprentice. And you, you are the one I have been waiting for."
Time seemed to stop for a moment in Tim's mind. "You're... not from this world? And you want me to be your apprentice?" The words echoed in his mind as if they were not real, as if something deep had changed in an instant
