The next day, Tim Wake woke up in a state of relative calm, despite the storm of thoughts swirling in his mind. The previous night had been filled with strange dreams and astonishing visions where he saw the other world that Beibars had told him about. As he drank a glass of water, he remembered the moment when he felt an unfamiliar power flowing through his body. He had no idea what awaited him.
When he met Beibars in the morning, there was something different in his expression. Beibars gently asked, "What's your name, boy?"
"Tim Wake," Tim answered quietly, trying to gather his thoughts.
Beibars smiled slightly, though his eyes carried deep sorrow. "I am Prince Beibars. You are lucky to have been chosen."
Tim, however, had many questions. "What's inside that orb? What kind of power is this?"
Beibars looked at the glowing orb in his pocket. Deep memories returned to him, a feeling of nostalgia and pain. "It's the power of my former apprentice," he said softly, as if speaking of a painful memory.
Tim was surprised and asked, "But you told me this power chose me."
"Yes, that's true," Beibars replied, then sighed deeply before continuing. "My apprentice is no longer here... He died long ago, but his power lives on, and now it has chosen you. This means you have a role in a story yet to be written."
Tim felt sadness at the loss of Beibars' former apprentice. "What will you do now?" he asked, concerned.
"I will train you well until you are strong enough to match this power," Beibars said with determination. "Your body is too weak right now, and you will need harsh training to become capable of containing this power. When you're ready, I will make this power inside you a part of you, and you will become incredibly strong."
Tim was filled with joy, and childish thoughts began to flood his mind. "I'll become a superhero!" he shouted with indescribable excitement. "Maybe I'll have laser beams coming out of my eyes, or I'll be able to shoot energy from my hands and blow up planets!" Tim laughed out loud.
But his laughter didn't last long. Beibars sighed and stood up, lightly tapping Tim on the head. "You fool! Not like that! Where did you get such ridiculous ideas? Just wait, your training will be hell."
Tim was startled and shouted, "What?! Hell?!"
"Yes, harsh and unforgiving training. You'll feel pain in every corner of your body, but you must endure it. This power is not easy, and you must be ready for whatever comes your way."
Then Tim cautiously asked, "If I gain this power, will I leave my world behind and go with you? What will happen?"
Beibars looked at Tim with serious eyes. "When I take you to my world, I'll tell you what your purpose is. But first, you must endure the harsh training, and you will discover more about this power in due time."
Tim felt tense and scared. "But how will I be able to do that? I'm just an ordinary boy."
"Because you're no longer ordinary," Beibars said. "That's why I'll be with you on your journey. I'll train you, guide you, and help you understand what this power really means."
Tim felt a new sense of hope. "So, if you're going to help me, I'll do my best to become strong."
Beibars smiled, his eyes gleaming with pride. "Great. Remember, this is not just power, but responsibility."
With that, Tim began his journey towards power, holding on to his promise to become something greater than himself, realizing that the road ahead would be long and difficult. But he was no longer alone. He had a mentor to teach him and a purpose waiting to be discovered.
