Early in the morning, Tim woke up to the sound of birds singing under the warm rays of the sun that filtered through the trees. Despite the beautiful atmosphere, his heart wasn't at ease. He felt something strange, as if it was a warning that this day would be anything but ordinary. He remembered Beibars' warnings: "The training will be hell."
Tim got up and glanced at himself in the mirror, observing his tired eyes and weary features. He then headed towards the yard, where he found Beibars standing, waiting for him. He stood firmly, arms crossed and chest lifted, as if he embodied the power of nature itself. His eyes were fixed on the horizon, as though watching something only he could see.
"Today begins your serious training, Tim," Beibars said in a deep and calm voice. "If you think the power will come to you easily, you're mistaken. You'll have to earn it with sweat and effort."
Despite his fear and tension, Tim tried to show enthusiasm: "I'm ready! I'll do anything."
Beibars smiled faintly, then said, "Good, we shall see."
The first test before Tim was running. Beibars ordered him to run around the entire area, across hills and valleys, without stopping. The task seemed easy at first, but over time, his body began to feel heavy, as if the ground deepened with every step. After hours of continuous running, his feet began to hurt, and his muscles burned with pain. Tim wasn't prepared for this level of effort.
"Faster!" Beibars shouted from behind him. "There's no place for the weak here!" Those words were like a whip driving him to keep going, even when his heart pounded like war drums in his chest.
Tim, on the verge of collapse, started to slow down, but suddenly, he felt something strange. It was as if his body was being revitalized, and a new surge of energy was flowing within him. It was strange to him, but he didn't stop. He thought it was just a burst of inner resolve, but little did he know that Beibars was watching him, sending small bursts of energy to Tim without him noticing. That energy was slowly integrating into his body, gradually changing his internal structure.
As Beibars sent those small energies into Tim, his body began to adapt gradually. At first, the changes were subtle, but they were happening slowly and steadily. Inside his body, his cells were regenerating and becoming stronger. His muscles, which were breaking down from exhaustion, began to adjust, and even his internal organs started changing to match the power they would soon contain.
Tim wasn't aware of these changes, but he could feel them in some vague way. The effort was still grueling, but his body was resisting in a way he wasn't used to. And when he felt he couldn't go on, that unseen energy brought him back to life, allowing him to continue despite everything.
"Where is this power coming from?" Tim wondered to himself, but he didn't dare ask. Perhaps this was part of the training, part of the tough journey he had to undertake to reach his goal.
The next day brought a new test. Beibars commanded him to carry massive stones across rugged terrain, up and down mountains, and across flowing rivers. Every time Tim felt his body could no longer endure, he found himself able to keep going thanks to that mysterious energy that was being sent to him.
"Do you think that merely running will allow you to control this power?" Beibars said as he watched Tim struggle to lift a stone bigger than his size. "Strength isn't just in muscles; it's in willpower."
Tim began to realize that this training wasn't just physical. It was a test of mind and spirit. As he carried stones and crossed rivers, he had to fight off negative thoughts and confront his fears. With each challenge, he felt his body changing slowly. His muscles were growing, and his mind became sharper, but he didn't know that Beibars was leading him towards something greater.
After weeks of training, Tim began to feel something different. He wasn't just stronger; he felt that his body was adapting to something bigger. His dreams carried strange images, where he saw himself surrounded by a mysterious white energy, as if it were a part of him. And every time he woke from those dreams, he felt something inside him change.
One day, while training under Beibars' supervision, the latter suddenly stopped and said, "You are now ready for the next phase."
Tim, feeling tired and exhausted but full of determination, looked at Beibars with eyes full of resolve and said, "I'm ready, Master."
Beibars nodded and said, "But remember, power is not just a means to achieve what you want. It's a responsibility. And when the moment comes, you will know what to do with it."
Tim smiled and said, "I trust you, and I'll do whatever it takes."
Beibars smiled faintly, then turned and said, "Now, let's begin the next phase."
