When they looked at the rewards, they pondered about how to distribute the new items. And then another wave of skeletons began to run through the city, but the skeletons only ran past them without thinking.
"So... Spark you get the dagger right? Because, you know, you use daggers" asked Joon-ho "But the ability would be useless" responded Spark, "But why?" inquired Joon-ho.
"It's because you two won't be able to see either me or the enemy" explained Spark "I'd rather have the mirror, and you to can fight over the dagger" he said before taking the charm and turning away.
Joon-ho and Seul-gi immediately tried to take the dagger for themselves. They pushed and pulled on each other to get the weapon, but in the end they decided on a coun toss.
"Okey, if it lands on the side with the dragon, I get the dagger, if it lands on the side with the crown, you get it?" explained Joon-ho while taking out a copper coin.
"Just get on with it" answered Seul-gi. Joon-ho threw the coin up in the air, as it descended it felt like time was moving slower then normal. The suspense was building up as the coin was getting closer to the ground.
Then finally it landed on the ground, with the side of the dragon up. "Yes!" celebrated Joon-ho while Seul-gi fell to the ground in defeat.
And while Joon-ho was celebrating, Spark was reading the basics of ice magic to become more proficient in it.
"You know, the ability wouldn't really work for you, because you use lightning" said Joon-ho trying to cheer Seul-gi up a bit, but she didn't respond.
A few moments after that and of Seul-gi's defeat, she stood up and started to cast lightning bolts and lightning charged arrows at the skeletons.
The next few hours were spent with one person at a time attacking the skeletons from the top of the tower, while the other two would read their books.
That was the most efficient way to get some free time to read the books, while still gaining some copper.
After three hours of that, a new system window appeared.
Warning:
The next wave may contain stronger monsters compared to the monsters from the last two waves, including:
Skeleton mage
Skeleton knight
Skeleton archer
Ghoul
The news of the new monsters appearing put a bit of uncertainty in all of them, but they realized one thing.
"But won't we get items from the stronger monsters" asked Seul-gi while putting her book away "I hope so" said Spark while he threw another icicle at a skeleton.
All three of them were standing guard, trying to spot one of the stronger enemies, but that wasn't really efficient. So they just left the scouting part to Seul-gi's spirit companion.
Now only one person reading their book, while two people were standing and attacking the skeletons.
But finally after half an hour, the spirit warned them of what looked like a skeleton archer.
They were excited by that and started combat expecting a great fight like with the skeleton knight, but after one arrow and a icicle the archer was already on the brink of death.
"Well... that was fast" sighed Spark as he tree a icicle that killed the archer, "Maybe it was because we surprise attacked it?" suggested Seul-gi, but she too was expecting something more.
