The knight immediately starting attacking Spark once again, but this time, the knight's attacks were more wild and aggressive. Each swing leaving a crack in the ground.
And on top of the knight going berserk, the archer also broke the ice, and started attacking Spark. The mage continued chanting, but from time to time would cast a sphere made out of the dark energy.
While Spark was dodging knights attacks, he could see many openings to strike, but it was to risky to try to use them. Lucky Seul-gi and Joon-ho that were on top of the tower didn't need to worry about that and started shooting.
They both fired a few projectiles, and most of them hit the knight, but leaving not even a scratch. And the mage started to chant a bit differently, and when they fired another projectile at the knight, it was shot down by the dark energy that was enhancing the knight.
Spark was running circles around the knight, trying to get away, but he wasn't able to do that.
Spark was getting despite, as Seul-gi and Joon-ho were useless because of the mage. As the last thing he could do is try do distract the mage.
Spark used most of his remaining mana to summon two illusions of himself, he instructed them to run towards the mage and he did that to.
The mage was preparing spells to attack the illusions and the knight was following them close behind, but before anyone did anything, the archer fired an arrow at one on the illusions. The arrow went straight through it and it hit the knight.
The knight stood there, not moving for a few moments, like if it was trying to find a response to the situation, then some strings of symbols started floating around it. Then, the knight stabbed itself in the stomach using it's sword, dying instantly.
Everyone stopped for a second, even the skeletons, to look at what happened. When they processed that, they looked at the archer, who was equally confused.
After a few moments of intense staring, a small orange ball appeared in-between everyone, which transformed into a spirit, like the one at the starting room.
"Who the hell coded this AI?" yelled the spirit while looking at around ten system windows at once.
It looked around and noticed Spark and the others, it waved it's hand, and the monsters were gone. "Thanks for finding a bug like this".
"What happened?!" yelled Joon-ho from the tower, "To simplify it, when the mage enchanted the knight, the knight became a minion, and minions are supposed to attack the strongest 'enemy'. So when the archer attacked the knight, the knight became the strongest enemy" quickly explained the spirit.
"What about the other monsters?" continued yelling Joon-ho, "They would have disrupted this conversation" answered the spirit.
The spirit looked like it was ready to leave, because remembering something "Ah, nearly forgot, for your reward", then tosed a coin to Spark and leaving.
Spark looked at the coin, and it was a silver one. He went up the tower to meet Seul-gi and Joon-ho, "What you did you get?" asked Seul-gi immediately when he came up, "One silver" answered Spark in a disappointed voice.
"Well, at the end of the day, it's still silver" said Joon-ho to cheer him up. "I'm buying some potions with this" said Spark, as the coin disappeared and around ten bottles filled with red liquid appeared in his hands.
The three of them all sat down to talk, "So how are he going to get through the mages defences, got any ideas?" asked Joon-ho, after a moment of thinking Seul-gi suggested "Maybe that ice thing of your first, and then I would shoot an arrow through them".
"It is a good idea, but not to sustainable. The 'ice thing' is really mana expensive" said Joon-ho "Got any other ideas? Didn't think so" responded Seul-gi in a irritated voice.
After that they brain stormed ideas, while completely ignoring the skeleton wave.
