Chapter 14 - The fight continues (2)

After the initial shock of the situation resumed, all of them started attacking the hoard that was moving on the ground.

They spotted a few ghouls and archers, but it wasn't a problem taking them down. And they got some sort of rhythm of killing skeletons and monsters.

It was getting kind of boring to them, but then they noticed a chance in the hoard. There were coming less and less basic skeletons.

And not long after there was no normal skeleton roaming the streets. There only monsters left were two archers, one knight and a mage.

"This isn't looking good" remarked Spark "You think so?" annoyed voice said Seul-gi "I'll go down then" just answered Spark "Why?" asked Joon-ho "Do you want that knight coming up here..." only silence was heard as a response "I thought so" then he went down to face the monsters.

As Spark went through the door he saw the archers drawing their bow while the mage in black robes was chanting a spell in a unknown language.

And in the front of it all, the skeleton knight was standing in the same black armor and long sword, "Just don't give me repeat" sighed Spark before rushing towards the knight.

But before he got into striking range of the knight, he used the mirror charm to create two illusions of himself. The illusions and Spark zigzaged to confuse the monsters.

While Spark was running up to the knight to attack with his clones, a arrow flew through one of the illusions heads, destroying it immediately.

But he didn't have time to think about that, he made the knight go for the illusion, and was able to get a good hit on him.

While Spark did that, Seul-gi and Joon-ho were trying to kill the archers, but the mage was destroying their projectiles using some sort of dark energy. But after much struggle they managed to kill one of the archers.

After they killed the archer they shifted their focus on the knight, who was fighting Spark at the time. It looked like Spark was winning against the knight, but in reality Spark was getting tired. On top of that, the knight wasn't his only opponent.

Seul-gi fired an arrow covered in a golden glow with some electricity cracking from it, towards the knight. It hit the knight in the leg, penetrating it completely, and after a moment an explosion could be seen coming from the arrow.

The explosion heavy damaged the armor, even making a few pieces fly of the skeleton.

While Seul-gi was doing that, Joon-ho threw a ice spear at the skeleton mage, it missed the target completely, so the mage didn't pay it much thought, but from where the spear landed the ground began to freeze.

The ice was also spreading on the skeletons, making movement much harder, luckily Spark retreated before, he to would be frozen over.

The archer and the mage were immobilized and couldn't move, but the knight was unaffected by the ice that was building up on it's armor.

It jumped towards Spark with it's sword ready to attack, but the knight was attacked with a arrow to the face while in the air. It didn't cause any big damage, but it was enough to interrupt the jump.

Spark used the opportunity to create four illusions of himself, this time he used them to overwhelm the knight, while he would attack the head.

The five Sparks were running in circles around the knight, pretending to attack to force the knight to defend, then Spark would attack the undefeated area dealing massive damage.

The plan was going great, with some support from Seul-gi and Joon-ho, the knight was nearly defeated.

But the now frozen over mage broke out of the ice with an explosion of dark energy. Then he started chanting and the dark energy started to gather around the knight.

It looked like the knight was infused with the ominous energy, then the mages chanting became louder and the knight began to transform.

A dark glow could be seen from inside the helmet, also the knight began growing in size, riping some of the armor in the process. In the cracks the same dark energy could be seen.

Now the knight was standing at a 210 cm of height, from what was around 170 before.
