The clanging of metal, the crashing of bodies, the roar of flames, and the myriad sounds of battle filled an island measuring 14,000 square meters.
Two humans were engaged in a fierce fight against hundreds of furry gorilla monsters.
(Gorilla Fur)
Level: 10
Attributes: Strength 31, Agility 27, Intelligence 12, Resilience 24
(Heavy Fist): Increases fist strength by 2 and delivers critical blows to vital areas.
The gorillas, standing at 1.5 meters tall, felt utterly helpless against the two humans: Essim and Aisha. Despite their own level being only 6, their attributes averaged around 30 points—surpassing those of the level 10 gorillas.
Essim danced with his sword, each slash sending the massive bodies of the gorillas tumbling to the ground. Not to be outdone, Aisha wielded her staff, unleashing black flames that resurrected the corpses of fallen gorillas.

The Gorilla Island they were currently on marked the 40th location they had invaded, and they had spent over five hours battling here. In that time, both Essim and Aisha had advanced to level 9 (99%). They estimated they would reach level 10 by the time they completed their conquest of Gorilla Island.
Moreover, Essim had duplicated the silver chest five times within those five hours, yielding an impressive total of 2500 silver chests. Moreover, now that he had bags, duplicating the chests would put them automatically in the bag's slots, instead of spawning them all over.
The contents of these silver chests were no joke; the materials they contained consistently proved beneficial, directly enhancing their strength and fortifying the island.

[Congratulations, you have reached level 10.]
[Tier 1 Promotion Mission has been unlocked.]
"Huh..." Essim let out a sigh of relief. They had finally reached level 10 and unlocked the promotion mission.
Curious, he checked the details of the promotion mission.
[Tier 1 Promotion Mission]
Crystal Aura: x1
Crystal Energy: 10,000
Level 10 Heart Monster: Protector
"That's it?" Essim felt incredulous at the simplicity of the promotion mission requirements. He had expected to face trials and choose a class, but all the mission requirements were already in his possession.
(Elven Archer Aura Crystal)
Gives the user the aura of a powerful elven archer.
Note: Activates level 1 promotion missions.
A white crystal, the size of an adult's hand, now appeared in Essim's grasp. He had amassed many such items: Swordsman Aura Crystal, Fire Mage Aura Crystal, Holy Priest Aura Crystal, and so on.
Additionally, he possessed the Level 10 Monster Heart: Protector. They had previously attacked islands guarded by such beings, and it was well known that Guardians had attributes exceeding those of typical warrior-level monsters.
"Aisha, have you seen the promotion mission details? Which crystal are you going to choose?" Essim asked Aisha, who stood next to him.
"Hm, I want to be a ranged attacker. I think archers or mages would suit me well," Aisha replied, recalling her experience with both bows and staffs, both of which she enjoyed.
Essim nodded, urging her to select the aura crystal she intended to use. He too pondered deeply about his own choice of aura crystal. Several options were available, including various Swordsman crystals:
(Aura Crystal: Swordsman - Void Race),
(Aura Crystal: Swordsman - Desert Race),
(Swordsman - Dragon Race),
and more. There were also cultivation aura crystals, support aura crystals, and various others to consider.
Essim attempted to gather more information about the promotion mission through the regional chat, but curiously, there was no detailed information available. All they knew was that level 1 promotions occurred upon reaching level 10.
After much contemplation, Essim finally settled on his choice and opted for the (Crystal Aura: Swordsman - Holy Human Race). The reason was simple: among the crystals he had, only a few contained the word "holy." Thus, he chose the one that resonated with his human essence.
Aisha soon finished her selection as well, opting for the (Crystal Aura: Archer - Elf Realm Race).
"Aisha, big brother will try it first. You will do it after me, okay?" Essim instructed.
"Um, okay…" Aisha nodded in agreement.
With that, Essim used the item through the system panel.
[Tier 1 Promotion Mission: Using promotion item (Crystal Aura: Swordsman - Holy Human Race) ?]
"Yes."
As Essim confirmed, he felt a force pulling at him. His vision darkened momentarily, and when it cleared, he found himself in a completely different scene.
"Brother?" Aisha called out, confused. She had seen Essim standing beside her just moments ago, but now he was gone.
However, her worries dissipated quickly; while it would be strange if this had happened on Earth, with the system, such things were probably normal.
Pushing aside her concerns, Aisha retrieved the bodies of the gorillas they had previously defeated.

Meanwhile, Essim stood on a vast white altar, facing an old man dressed in pure white robes.
"Are you awake, young man?" the old man asked kindly.
Essim looked at him, feeling overwhelmed. The old man radiated a dazzling aura that pressed down on Essim like a storm, leaving him feeling small and insignificant.
Noticing Essim's discomfort, the old man waved his hand, granting him respite from the overwhelming aura. This time, instead, Essim felt a warmth and familiarity, as if the old man were his own grandfather. A strange urge to hug him and sit on his lap surged within him.
"Tsk…" Shaking his head, Essim fought against the old man's influence.
"Come here, you wish to be promoted, don't you?" the man probed, seemingly peering into Essim's thoughts.
Essim composed himself. "Yes, sir. I want a promotion," he replied humbly.
"Good," the old man, waving his thin white hand dismissively. "You simply need to test your talent on this device," the old man continued, producing a peculiar stone from thin air. The stone stood one meter tall and bore intricate numbers etched into its surface.
(Initial Universe Stone):
The Universe Power contained within can assess an individual's destiny, talents, and abilities.
"How do I use it, sir?" Essim inquired, eyeing the old man with curiosity.
"Just place your hand on the stone. The higher the number it displays, the better your reward will be," the old man explained, producing a collection of crystals, a total of nine, each varying in size.
The crystals floated before the old man, who proudly presented them for Essim to inspect.
(Crystal Core: 1st Level - 100 Points required)

(Crystal Core: 2nd Level - 200 Points required)
(Crystal Core: 3rd Level - 300 Points required)
...
(Crystal Core: Immortal - 1500 Points required)
Level 1 is the smallest crystal with the lowest points threshold, while the Immortal Crystal Core is the largest, requiring 1500 points.
"So ? Eager to try your luck ?" the old man asked patiently, having clearly performed this task many times before. Essim, who now had his hand on the Immortal Crystal Core, was in deep thoughts. The old man observed him with a kind smile.
Essim sighed internally, believing the old man was honestly guiding him. His heart raced as he felt the weight of the moment. Touching the Crystal Cores, he noticed that his duplication talent was available.
"Can I duplicate any item I'm holding, even if it's not mine?" Essim wondered silently, having stumbled upon a potential exploit in his EX talent.
[Crystal Core: Immortal, duplicate 500 times?]
"Yes."
In an instant, the duplication was successful, and Essim's bag filled with ten slots occupied by Immortal Core crystals.
The old man's gaze suddenly turned solemn.
"What? ..…" Essim's heart raced with fear.
During the duplication process, the old man seemed to sense something unusual about Essim and the Immortal Crystals. He swiftly withdrew all the crystals, leaving Essim frozen in place.
