Rely on your wife?
Not worry about magic runes?
Meaningless stuff?
Won't be sent to battlefields?
Always do housework?
'This is so messed up,' Daniel felt his mind spinning. He had forgotten for a moment that this was indeed a world where everything had been reversed.
From his perspective and values, it was like a fantasy story where the heroine or female lead didn't manage to awaken any decent powers but later had to rely on the male lead and be there for fan service scenes.
Indeed, no one would care if such a heroine didn't awaken any powers—she could still have many other uses.
And in this world, he was the one in that situation.
But this realization also helped him. He realized he had been caring too much about what others thought. Now that he knew there wouldn't be harsh judgment on him, he felt he could take it easy.
Daniel returned to the garden, only to hear the clanging of weapons.
He looked to the side and saw several women dressed in training suits, swinging wooden weapons and sparring with training dummies.
"Knights…"
They were the knights of the county, serving under his mother.
They were all strong vampires—he could feel their energy even from afar.
In the corner, he also noticed the training instructor, a buffed-up woman who shocked him with her overflowing muscles.
'Damn!' he silently cursed. He couldn't grow a single muscle in this world, and yet this woman was the epitome of muscular strength.
He shook his head and looked toward another area where the knights were exchanging blows, sparring with each other.
He, too, wanted to try sparring and learn the way of the sword. He had the ambition to become a strong sword god, roaming the world.
Suddenly, a woman's voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Young master, are you here to watch?"
He turned around to see a slender woman dressed in a formal knight uniform. She was the vice-captain of the county's knights.
Although she was quite old, she appeared as young as someone in their 20s. But he knew she already had two children and had been married for a long time.
He glanced at her and decided to ask, "Yes, I was curious about the sword sparring."
The vice-captain smiled. "Indeed, young master, our army is one of the strongest among the neighboring nobility. We have some of the best young talent in our ranks, hahaha."
While she was boasting, he asked, "Wow, vice-captain, they must be experts, right?"
"Of course! They've been trained to the bone. They're all young and hot-blooded women."
"Wow, would it be possible for me to try as well?"
"Sure sur—um!? Young master, what did you say?" She froze and asked again.
"Yay! Thanks for agreeing to my request, vice-captain!"
Daniel smiled and ignored her question, walking straight into the training grounds.
"Th-this… young master, please wait! The countess won't allow it! If she finds out, she'll have me executed!" She hurried to his side.
"Don't worry, I'll talk to mother. I just want to try out the swords. I'll use a wooden sword and be extra careful not to cause any accidents," Daniel assured her, but she still seemed hesitant.
"Young master, men have weak bodies. You'll get hurt—please stop this…!"
The vice-captain's face turned pale as she saw him pick up a wooden sword from the container.
Her heart raced. Was the young master really going to try this!?
By now, the commotion had drawn the attention of others in the field, and many approached, curious about what was happening.
But when they saw their delicate young master holding a sword, they were stunned before panicking.
"Y-young master, what are you doing!?"
"Please put down the sword!"
"It's dangerous, young master!"
"Ah! The vice-captain is too cruel. She's making the young master fight like a woman!"
"Is that really what's happening!?"
"Damn! The vice-captain is unjust! Forcing a man like this."
"What a beast! If only she weren't the vice-captain…"
"Should we call the captain?"
"No, I heard she's away on a mission. We should go directly to the countess to stop this cruelty!"
"You're right, sister!"
The vice-captain, hearing all this, felt her world crumble. She hurriedly explained to the crowd that she wasn't the one forcing the young master and that he had simply wanted to try it himself.
Many were still suspicious of her despite her explanation, but Daniel helped by confirming it was his own wish.
Only after that did the crowd settle a bit.
"So, does the young master want to try fighting with a sword?"
"Damn! That sounds so cool!"
"Sister, let me be honest, I really like feminine men."
"Ew, what's wrong with you, bitch?"
"Ah! I never thought I'd see the day when our delicate young master would hold a sword! This isn't a dream, is it?"
Slap!
"Why did you slap my face!?"
"Sister, I was just helping you wake up."
Daniel's ears buzzed with noise as the crowd called out to him. He had expected this.
He didn't mention it, but he was quite handsome in this life. Well, "quite" would be an understatement—he was very attractive to women.
It was expected, given his father's royal genes. The men of the royal family were known for their world-shattering looks.
His silver hair and red eyes, inherited from his father, made him look like a prince straight out of a fairy tale.
He picked up the wooden sword and swung it around a few times, causing the crowd's cheers to intensify.
This made him feel embarrassed, as they were clearly over-enthusiastic. All he had done was swing it around.
He looked around and spotted a wooden dummy nearby. It was used for sword practice.
