Chapter 36 - Enel

Sorry for the delay but I was sick these two days.

Anyway Enjoy Reading.

"This is impossible! Aisa, your mental network, the Mantra covers such a wide range! How could he sense you?"

Aisa's Mantra, an innate ability, allowed her to sense a large area, and the Sandia tribe had long relied on it to avoid countless battles with Enel.

"No! He definitely sensed me! His Mantra is far more powerful than mine!" Aisha affirmed with certainty.

Hearing Aisa's words, everyone realized that she might be right. Her Mantra wasn't just vast in range; it allowed her to sense the hearts and strengths of enemies. For someone to sense her meant their abilities were even more terrifying.

Wyper, however, was unfazed. "Regardless of that, this is our best chance. Neither Enel nor the sea people will take what belongs to us. Rangers, follow me! Attack!"

"Oooo!!" the Shandians warriors roared, charging forward.

At the Shrine

"They're gone?!" Enel, lounging on his bed and ready to enjoy the show, was stunned. In the blink of an eye, all his priests and divine soldiers had been wiped out before he even took a bite of his apple.

"Evil magic user? Looks like someone with real power has arrived," he mused. "But no matter what abilities they have, none can rival mine."

At that moment, Akia and the others reached their destination.

"Is this the ancient city of Shandora?" someone remarked.

"Such ancient ruins. It must have been abandoned for ages," another chimed in.

"Is this where the gold is hidden?" they wondered, excitement bubbling among the group.

Suddenly, a thunderclap shattered the air, and a bolt of lightning struck the roof in front of them.

A pale-skinned man appeared on the roof, had a relaxed, half-lidded expression accentuated by a calm, confident smile.

He had a platinum blond hair while his earlobes long and bare, stretch all the way to his chest due to being weighed down by gold earrings with diamond-shaped pendants.

His upper body exposed, and four wooden shime-daiko drums set next to and above his head, each marked with a Tomoe pattern eerily similar to the Uchiha's Sharingan.

"Welcome to my domain!" he declared. "I am the god of the Sky Island."

(A/N: Yep he is Enel, I knew no one expected this)

Enel smirked, eyeing the group. "Impressive. You managed to defeat my priests. But honestly, they were starting to bore me. As a reward, I'll give you a chance to surrender. I'll make you my new priests and divine soldiers. It's a supreme honor." His gaze lingered on Hancock. "You, in particular, are beautiful. I'll make you my queen."

Hancock's fury grew with each word. "Such arrogance! You dare ask me to surrender? Some self-proclaimed god from a backwater land dares to look down on me? I'll turn you into stone!"

"Mero Mero Mellow!" Hancock unleashed her attack, sending a wave of love energy toward Enel.

"One million volts!"

Crack!

A streak of blue-white lightning shot out from Enel's hand, so fast that it struck Hancock before she could react.

Boom!!

"Snake Princess!!" the women of the Kuja pirates cried out in alarm.

Hancock, however, felt no pain. When she looked up, she saw Akira standing in front of her, having blocked Enel's attack.

"Huh?" Enel raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Not bad! You managed to block my strike. But let's see how you handle what's next..."

He raised his hand to target Akira

"Twenty million volts…"

Before Enel could finish, a figure appeared behind him. Uchiha Shisui swung his sword at Enel, but Enel's body transformed into lightning, and he reappeared behind Shisui in an instant, his finger pointing at him.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" Uchiha Itachi unleashed a massive fireball toward Enel.

"Snort!" Enel sneered, extending his palm and releasing an electric shock to counter the fireball.

Boom!!

The fireball and lightning collided, causing a massive explosion. In the aftermath, Shisui lashed out with a powerful kick. Enel remained unfazed—until the blow landed.

Bang!!

"Ughhh!!"

Enel screamed in surprise as he was sent flying, crashing through several walls of the ancient ruins.

Blah blah blah!

Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, Enel snarled, "How... How did you hit me?! I'm made of lightning! I'm lightning! That should be impossible!"

Shisui, confused, glanced at Akira

Akira explained, "Enel ate the Logia Devil Fruit, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. He can transform into lightning, making normal physical attacks useless. Only by using Armament Haki can you bypass his elemental form and strike his real body."

"He's a Logia Devil Fruit user?" Hancock was taken aback. Logia fruits were known as the most powerful type of Devil Fruit, with the Navy's three admirals wielding Logia abilities as well. The Thunder Fruit, in particular, was one of the most dangerous, allowing its user to manipulate lightning. The thought made her uneasy—this man's power was formidable indeed.

Enel gritted his teeth. "Armament Haki, huh? I didn't expect blue sea people to possess such a power and actually hurt me. But that won't happen again!"

Boom!

Enel struck one of the thunder drums on his back with his staff.

"Thirty million volts Hino, Thunderbird!!"

A massive thunderbird erupted from the drum, its form resembling a phoenix, and it sped toward Shisui with terrifying speed. Shisui tried to dodge, but Enel laughed.

"Do you really think you can outrun lightning?"

Suddenly, a voice called out, "Raikiri!!"

A bolt of lightning flashed, and in an instant, the thunderbird was cleaved in half.

Boom!!

The thunderbird's remnants struck the ruins, shattering the walls.

"Impossible!" Enel's eyes widened in disbelief. His lightning—cut in half?
