Chapter 38 - Konoha Problem

---

Enel couldn't comprehend what he had just witnessed. How could anyone withstand the raw power of his lightning? He searched his mind frantically, grasping for any excuse to explain it away, to deny the growing dread creeping into his thoughts.

The next moment Enel's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw Akira still floating before him, unharmed. Not only had this guy survived his attack, but he could fly.

"You... you... you can fly?!" Enel stuttered, the disbelief clear in his voice.

"Yeah," Akira replied with a smirk. "What? You can't? Didn't you call yourself a god? A god who can't even fly? That's pretty pathetic."

Enel's face turned a deep shade of red, his body trembling in rage. No one had ever dared to look down on him, let alone mock him. He was God. How could this mortal dare to despise him?

"You... dare mock me?!"

Akira's smirk widened. "It's not even mockery. It's just sad. You're really weak for a so-called god."

"Bastard!! Go to hell!!" Enel roared, unleashing a torrent of lightning, his anger fueling the storm.

In response, a cloak of chakra surrounded Akira, thick with the energy of lightning. He moved in an instant, his body flickering out of sight as the ground beneath him exploded from the force of his movement.

Boom!

Akira reappeared in front of Enel, who barely had time to react.

"So fast!" gasped one of the warriors from the Kuja, her eyes wide in astonishment.

Enel, in sheer panic, raised his arms, but before he could defend himself, Akira's foot connected with his face.

"Whaaaaaaa!!" Enel screamed as he was sent flying like a rag doll.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

His body smashed through walls and ruins, leaving a trail of destruction.

Akira's technique was a combination of the Fourth Raikage's Lightning Style Chakra Mode, wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra to increase their physical parameters, and his own Thunder Breathing technique, making him even faster than the Raikage himself. This speed had been hard-earned in a deal with the Fourth Raikage. Initially, Raikage had refused, but when Akira held Killer Bee's life in the balance, the deal was struck.

True to his word, Akira had released both Raikage and Killer Bee once he had learned the technique. He kept his promises—after all, a reputation was important if you wanted people to do business with you.

Still, when Raikage left, he had muttered something about taking revenge on Konoha in the future. Then there was Third Tsuchikage, who Akira had similarly strong-armed into giving him the Super Light-Weight Rock Technique in exchange for the lives of fifty Iwagakure Jonin. Both leaders had vowed revenge, but for now, their threats were empty words.

Akira had no fear of them, for he wasn't bound by Konoha's allegiances. He chose to leave not out of cowardice, but because he understood the weight of responsibility he carried. If a fight broke out, he couldn't protect his clan alone.

Akira knew he would need their support, especially with the many worlds he aimed to explore.

In the future, Some realms would be beyond his reach, restricted by power limitations he alone couldn't bypass. One day, however, he intended to leave these untrodden worlds to the younger generation, preparing them to follow in his footsteps across the multiverse.

Meanwhile, in the world of the Hokage, Third Hokage and Danzo sat in stunned silence in Konoha.

"What the hell is going on?!" Danzo barked, slamming his fist on the table. "Are the people of Iwagakure and Kumogakure insane? They've torn up the armistice agreement and are openly declaring war on us!"

"Do they think that just because the Uchiha clan left, Konoha is weak?" Third Hokage mused, clearly bewildered. They had just finished one war and all the villages were supposed to be rebuilding. This attack made no sense.

A Root Anbu ninja appeared, bowing before them.

"What news do you have?" Danzo demanded. "Is there something we missed?"

"Yes," the Anbu said hesitantly. "According to intelligence, it was Uchiha Akira.... in Iwagakure, he coerced Third Tsuchikage by taking fifty of his Jonin hostage for a deal. And in Kumogakure, he captured Fourth Raikage's brother, Killer Bee, to force another deal."

Danzo's jaw dropped, and the Third Hokage simply stared.

"Both the Third Tsuchikage and the Fourth Raikage hate Uchiha Akira deeply. Now that he's gone, they plan to retaliate against Konoha."

"But Akira isn't even with us anymore!" Danzo roared. "Why are we paying for his sins?!"

---

Back on Sky Island, Akira sneezed, rubbing his nose.

"Someone thinking about me?" he muttered to himself.

Crash!

Enel, battered and furious, rose from the rubble. His body trembled with lightning as he glared at Akira.

"Damn you! Who are you?!"

"I am God's Judgement!" Enel roared, forming a massive pillar of lightning with his wrist and firing it at Akira.

"Raikiri!" Akira's hand sliced through the pillar of lightning effortlessly, dispersing it as if it were nothing.

"This... this is impossible!" Enel gasped.

"Humans always say something's impossible when they can't do it themselves," Akira replied coldly, his eyes narrowing. "It's not impossible. You're just incompetent."

With that, Akira's fist smashed into Enel's face, sending him flying once again.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Enel's body ricocheted off walls before crashing into a massive vine, slumping to the ground, unmoving.

"Did... did we get him?" one of the Kuja warriors asked, her voice trembling.

"Maybe..." another replied uncertainly.

But their hopes were dashed as Enel's body crackled with renewed electricity. Lightning surged around him, and the white clouds above began to swirl and darken.

A massive bolt of lightning struck Enel, his body vanishing only to reappear on top of the towering vine. He glared down at Akira with murderous fury.

"You dare call me incompetent? I am the Almighty God! You will all pay for this insult!"

The sky above began to split as a gigantic purple-black thunderball, large enough to cover half of Sky Island, slowly formed, crackling with the power of destruction.

"Disappear... disappear all of you!!" Enel bellowed as the thunderball descended.

"I will destroy everything"
