Eros remained standing at the railing, still glancing down at the sea. His eyes fell on the occasional flickering of firelight beneath the layers of water. Suddenly, his pupils shrank, his vision piercing through the water into the deepest sea abyss. A loud, excited cry resonated inside his ears as a gigantic shadow swam across the waters, its massive size enough to stir waves to drown the entire Primrose.
"Woooom…"
A low moan echoed from beneath the waves. Eros's lips quirked into a smirk. "Be good. Don't scare them," he said. As if the mysterious shadow beneath the sea had heard his voice, its cries ceased, and it dove deeper into the abyss.
Inside the galley, Kael stared intently at the sizzling meat in the pan. The pink, tender flesh began to brown under the heat as Mirabella flipped it for even cooking. Once it was perfectly seared, she served it on a clean plate with fresh mint on the side.
