After the meeting, Phillip dialed Odelia's number, but a robotic voice answered that the number was unreachable. Phillip didn't think much of it at first, but when he called the security guard at Odelia's apartment complex, who said Odelia had left the building about 2 hours ago and had not returned, he began to feel a little panicked.
He had noticed Odelia had been trying to keep a distance from him for a while now, and since he didn't want her to feel overwhelmed by his constant presence, he had decided to give her space and have been keeping tabs on her through the security guard.
"Do you know where she went to?" He asked the guard again.
"No, sir, but I believe it wasn't somewhere far away; she was dressed simply, and a cab had picked her up," the guard answered.
