"What?" I asked confused by the answer.
"Ah sorry about that, i was thinking of…old times" It said with a melancholic smile.
"I am seriously considering if i should just kill you" I said narrowing my eyes.
It smiled sinisterly once more. "That won't go well for you, what is mere incarnation of me do with that flimsy strength of yours, i was able to create entire worlds in my prime"
I couldn't see through this thing both metaphorically and emotionally. "…i..will believe you for now, why did you bring me here also what do you mean by Incarnation?, are you a transmigratior?"
"Hahaha, i am you and you were me, my wirld was rebooted and you were inspired by me and now what's left of me is, this i am [DISCONTINUED], i am the only original one that survives and now i brought you into my Anti-Void to give you two of my inheritances Chara dreemur, The first is a child i regret not looking after her that much, now she will forget me, Nero is my daughter, a shadow spider the next is the Anti-Void itself"
I stared at the figure, my mind racing. "Wait… you're saying you're some kind of… me, but from a different timeline? And you want to dump your daughter and this 'Anti-Void' on me like it's some kind of inheritance?"
"Precisely," the figure said, their sinister grin softening into something that resembled regret. "You and I are connected in ways you can't yet comprehend. I am what was left behind—a fragment of a story that was never allowed to continue. And you, Chara Dreemur, are the one who will carry the torch forward."
"That's absurd," I said, taking a step back. "I didn't sign up for any of this. And why should I trust you? For all I know, this is some kind of trap."
The figure let out a low chuckle, their form flickering slightly, as if they were struggling to remain stable. "Trust me or not, it makes no difference. The inheritance is yours regardless. You'll find Nero already tied to your soul—don't bother trying to remove her. As for the Anti-Void…" They gestured around, their hand cutting through the black expanse like a blade through water. "This place will become your sanctuary. Your prison. Your power. What you make of it is entirely up to you."
I narrowed my eyes, gripping my DT knife tighter. "And what happens to you after this? You just… fade away?"
The figure gave me a tired smile, their once-malevolent presence dimming slightly. "I am already nothing more than a shadow of what I was. Once this transfer is complete, I will truly cease to exist. No reboot. No reincarnation. Just… nothing."
For a moment, there was silence between us, the weight of their words sinking in. I didn't know whether to feel pity or anger. Maybe both. "And you expect me to just accept all this? To take on your daughter and your cursed Void like it's some kind of gift?"
"You have no choice," they said simply. "But perhaps… in time, you'll understand why I made this decision. Why I chose you." They paused, their glowing eyes locking onto mine.
"One last thing, Chara Dreemur. Becareful. There are others like us,Transmigrators,Reincarnators and other unyielding humans that were once normal"
"Others like us?" I echoed, my grip tightening on the DT knife. "What do you mean by that? Are they a threat?"
The figure's flickering form began to destabilize further, the once-solid image breaking into fragments that glowed faintly in the darkness of the Anti-Void. Their voice grew distant, layered with an ominous echo. "Yes, and no. Some will seek to ally with you, but many… many will see you as a rival, a danger to their dominion. You're not the first to gain power beyond your world, Chara Dreemur. And you certainly won't be the last."
My heart raced at the implications. "If you knew all this, why didn't you prepare me better? Why not just deal with these threats yourself instead of dumping them on me?"
The figure's eyes softened, almost as if they pitied me. "Because my time has passed, and this existence… it was never meant to last forever. You, however, are a fresh slate, a spark in the multiverse's vast darkness. My fight is over, but yours is only beginning." They raised a fragmented hand and pointed to me, their fading form pulsating weakly. "You'll find Nero to be a powerful ally, though her memories of me are lost. And the Anti-Void… it will grow with you, reflecting your strength, your will. Master it, and you may even bend the multiverse to your whim."
I took a deep breath, the weight of their words pressing down on me. "You make it sound like I'm going to be some sort of cosmic gladiator, thrown into battles I never asked for."
The figure let out a faint chuckle, their form now little more than a silhouette of light. "In a way, you are. But remember this, Chara Dreemur: the multiverse is both a playground and a battlefield. Those who can shape it have the power to save or destroy. The choice will always be yours."
Before I could respond, their form shattered into glowing fragments, each piece spiraling into the endless void around me. Their voice lingered, faint and fleeting, as if carried by a distant wind.
"Good luck, Chara Dreemur. And beware… the strongest don't always survive."
….
I jolted awake, my body drenched in sweat. The oppressive silence of the Anti-Void was gone, replaced by the familiar hum of reality. My room felt cold and alien, the shadows seeming to linger just a little too long in the corners.
A faint tug in my chest drew my attention. I turned and saw her—Nero. She stood by the doorway, her violet eyes staring at me with an unreadable expression. Her shadowy spider legs were sharp and she looked small enough to sit on top of my head. "Huh…i would usually hate spiders…but you're cute"
"Hisssssss" She hissed, which probably means she likes me, Suddenly the shadows around her twisted and then a girl with black hair and a dark dress was staring at me with an innocent expression on her face.
"Dad i'm hungry, do you have any meat or large insects?"
