Liam, without any hesitation, picked up Lily and rolled her around. "I promise, I will always listen to you," he kissed Lily affectionately.
"It's not bad to have an obedient and honest husband like Liam beside me, right?" she thought, returning the kiss with deep affection.
The kiss deepened, reaching the next level. Liam placed Lily on the stone bed and lay on top of her. His eyes were burning with desire, and his breath became hotter. "Can I?" he inquired.
Lily's face flushed red. "Am I really ready?" she questioned herself. But before she could reply, Liam was suddenly lifted off her, shocking her.
She stood up immediately only to find Angus with his huge tail tightly wrapped around Liam, clearly intending to break him. His crimson eyes gleamed with danger, and the air around him was very cold, sending chills everywhere.
Liam struggled to breathe and attempted to free himself, but he was powerless against Angus.
"Angus... Angus, let go of him! You are hurting him!" Lily shouted in panic.
It was as if Angus heard nothing; his deadly gaze was fixed on Liam with the visible intention of killing him.
"Angus, I said let him go! If anything happens to Liam, you can forget being my mate!" she threatened.
Indeed, the threat worked, and Angus released Liam, making him gasp for breath. His bones had already stiffened to the point where, if he hadn't been released on time, they would surely have broken.
"Are you alright?" Lily rushed up to him and asked him worriedly. She glared at Angus, wanting to scold him, but she just couldn't. "Just go away!" she turned her gaze from him.
Angus looked at Lily for a long time before silently moving away.
Lily's heart quickened as she watched Angus's retreating figure. "This guy... just like an aloof CEO," she thought, before looking at Liam. "Are you fine?" she asked anxiously.
Liam cast her a reassuring smile.
"Berry!" Lily exclaimed, and immediately, Berry appeared. The first thing she did was look around in search of Angus, and after confirming he was not around, she breathed out a sigh of relief.
"What happened just now? I could feel that snake mate of yours' anger," she inquired.
"Errr..." Lily's face went dull. "Help me check Liam first," she replied.
"Mm," Berry replied, studying Liam for a long time. "Thankfully, his bones are not broken. He will be fine; no worries," she assured.
Hearing the confirmation from Berry, Lily sighed in relief. "Take a rest, okay?" she helped him lie down on the stone bed.
Observing Lily's tenderness, Berry felt a bit lost. "Just because his bones stiffen doesn't mean he needs all this care. In fact, he's already well; why is she treating him as if he were her child?" she wondered.
.....
"Beautiful sister, why don't we go out to buy some clothes? Your dress is a little peculiar, but anyway, maybe that's just your tribe's dress code. You won't stay here too long, so I want to spend some more time with you. After we come back, you will tell me how that reverse cowgirl style is done," Berry said, chuckling in excitement.
Lily's mouth slightly opened. "This girl won't let it go, will she" she thought. "Is there a market here?" she asked.
"Yes, let's go! You will definitely enjoy the day," Berry replied, picking up a basket and pulling Lily with her.
As they walked through the forest, they encountered fallen huge trees and broken ones. Lily was surprised to see the rolls of fallen timber. "What... happened... here?" she questioned.
"Err, this is probably the handiwork of your snake mate," Berry replied.
"Is he angry? But why?" Lily pondered.
"Don't worry about him; let's keep going," Berry reassured, and they continued on their journey. Along the way, they saw a group of beastmen with cat tails behind them, similar to Berry, with the exception of their breasts. Each one of them had two black dots on their left breast, which symbolized their strength.
As soon as they spotted Lily, their gaze was fixed on her. She was fair and beautiful, and even the blind couldn't miss the sight of her. Immediately, they rushed towards her, introducing themselves.
"I am Golo; I'm already at level two, and I am the second son of the Chief of the cat tribe. Will you consider me to be your mate? I promise to give you everything you want."
"My name is Ere; I'm already at level two strength, and I can protect you well. I don't have any mate, but I like you."
"My name is Colour; I am at level two strength. My family is very wealthy, and I assure you that I can give you everything you want. I can also promise to get you the star once I reach level nine."
Berry watched all of them as they fought for Lily's attention and rolled her eyes. "Really stupid" she commented.
Lily's mouth twitched. "There's really a problem with these people stumbling through life. Here is another one trying to get the star," she thought. "Right, they are chasing after me because of my attractive appearance. I need to find a solution to this." Just as she was about to put a stop to it, a voice sounded behind them.
"What's going on here?"
Everyone turned around and found a handsome cat beastman. On his left breast were four large black dots, and he was dressed entirely in leaves. The air around him exuded nobility.
Upon seeing him, everyone except Lily, including Berry, immediately bowed. "Welcome, first son of the cat tribe chief, Viva!"
Lily was stunned. "Pardon! What's with the strange names this cat tribe has?" she wondered.
The young, handsome cat beastman named Viva nodded, then his gaze fell on Lily. His eyes couldn't help but widen, sparkling with desire.
"This fair guest is..."
"Tribe chief's first son, this is my beautiful sister from outside the tribe. She just arrived not long ago to visit me; she will soon leave," Berry interjected immediately.
Lily was somewhat confused. "Why does she sound nervous?" she thought.
"Oh..." Viva nodded, his gaze fixed on Lily. "Then what's your name?" he inquired.
"My name...mm...my name is Frying Pan!" Lily replied. "I don't think this guy is worth my time; it's better to choose a weird name for myself," she thought.
"Frying Pan!" Berry was taken aback. "What type of strange name is that?" she mused.
"Frying Pan?" Viva's brows knitted together in confusion. "From which tribe?" he asked.
"Water Tester," Lily responded with a smug expression on her face. "Take that, little neive cat!" she laughed inwardly.
