Chapter 75 - Liam imagination went opposite

Lily's heart broke, and she immediately sat him under the nearby tree. "I will treat you now," she declared, promptly retrieving bandages, a cotton board, cotton wool, and other necessary first aid items from her space ring.

She skillfully treated the scars on Webby's body, and after a short period, she took a deep breath and placed the tools on the ground. She flashed Webby a sweet smile. "Thankfully, it's not something that's beyond my ability," she remarked.

Webby looked at the bandages and gave Lily a nod.

While Lily was busy with Webby, Art and the others widened their eyes at the first aid items on the ground.

"What's this?" they all inquired in unison, unable to hide their curiosity any longer.

Liam coughed lightly and stepped forward proudly, surrounded by an air of arrogance. He hid his shock at seeing the first aid for the very first time and proclaimed, "You all don't know... This is the magical healing treasure that Beauty possesses. It can make wounds vanish immediately in the blink of an eye. It also has a special ability: to prolong life, making your body stronger than rock. If anyone gets hit, they won't feel any pain at all," he boasted, acting all mighty like an advanced teacher. There was a confident glint in his voice as he cast Angus a provocative gaze. "Aren't you trying to prove that you are knowledgeable? Just look at how I captured Beauty's heart like this," he thought, already lost in imagination.

... Liam's imagination ...

"Wow!" Lily's eyes twinkled with stars while gazing at Liam, who stood like a god with his hands on his hips and his jaw slightly raised in arrogance.

"Liam... when did you become this professional? You are more awesome than Angus! I love you more than him!" Lily exclaimed, and in the next moment, she pounced on him.

Liam became even more arrogant. "He knows nothing; I have advanced knowledge and know everything, haha!"

"That's so charming! From today onward, you are my only husband! I won't abandon others, but I will always spend most of my time with you!" Lily said, smiling beautifully as she hugged him tightly.

"You have to keep your promise, Beauty," Liam murmured, smiling handsomely.

"Liam, I have thought it through. Since you are now my favorite husband, I want to have children with you," Lily murmured, a blush appearing on her face.

Liam's eyes widened as he held Lily. "Really?" he shouted, excitement washing over him.

Lily nodded.

"Haha!" Liam laughed loudly. "I've successfully captured Beauty! Screw you, Angus!" he exclaimed, laughing without restraint.

... present ...

Lily's expression darkened, and imaginary devil horns appeared on her head. Her eyes were fixed on Liam, who was still chuckling to himself as if possessed. The furious air around her intensified as she stood up and walked closer to him. Suddenly, she raised her hand and—

"Pa!"

She hit him on the head, jolting him back to reality. Her hand rested on her hips, and she looked at Liam with the gaze of a mother toward her disobedient son.

"What on earth are you thinking?" she questioned, her face devoid of any trace of a smile.

Liam looked around and realized the atmosphere was completely different from what he had imagined. Lily's face was filled with anger instead of the happy, envious, and lovestruck expression he had envisioned. Embarrassed, he scratched the back of his head. "I didn't think about anything... I didn't," he denied.

Lily's face darkened even more. "Liam! How dare you lie to me!" she exclaimed, raising her hand again to hit him, but Liam immediately bent to avoid the blow.

"Beauty... don't be angry. You're far too beautiful to be upset," he pleaded.

"Say one more thing, and you'll find yourself in a huge mess!" Lily's anger continued to rise.

"Beauty, please don't be angry anymore, okay?" Liam pleaded urgently.

Lily closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "What was with the nonsense you just spouted? You called first aid a magical treasure that could make wounds disappear in the blink of an eye and prolong life! Am I the one who taught you that?" she shouted.

Liam was stunned. "Wait, did I get it wrong? It's over! It's over! My imagination won't come true!" he screamed inwardly. "I... I thought it could make any wound vanish and prolong life. It looks very much like something with such abilities," he attempted to explain.

Lily gritted her teeth together. "If you don't know something, just ask. Must you reveal your illiteracy in front of everyone? You just made me lose face as your teacher!" she exclaimed, hitting him on the back.

Liam cried and fled immediately. "I'm sorry, I promise not to do that again! I promise," he echoed, running into the distance.

"What about the fact that you made me lose today? You drive me crazy! Do not come back here today—if you dare to come back, I will beat the hell out of you! Lazy student! Embarrassing student!" she fumed angrily.

Angus stepped forward and hugged Lily. "Calm down... calm down, don't be angry," he consoled.

Lily took a deep breath and finally calmed down. She released herself from Angus's embrace and flashed him a smile. "I'm fine now," she replied, then looked at Webby, who was silently watching the scene. "Honestly..." she began.

Webby's eyes widened and his heart started racing. He stood up immediately, not even caring about his wound.

"Hey! Hey! I just bandaged your wound; don't make it open again," Lily said as she rushed over to Webby. After checking the bandage and confirming that it wasn't wet, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Angel, please... let me be your mate," Webby finally spoke. "Don't reject me, please," he pleaded, his voice filled with desperation and heartache.

Lily was stunned. "What does he mean now?" she thought.

"I mean..." Webby couldn't complete his words as he suddenly recalled Lily's fury regarding his ability to read minds. "I will definitely find a solution for my ability to read minds, and you won't hate me again," he explained.

Lily's eyes widened. "Damn it, I almost forgot that he can read minds," she thought, then coughed lightly. "You know what? I didn't hate you, and I only said those words that day because I wanted to escape with my friend," she confessed in a low murmur, feeling embarrassed.
