Salt Mother was stunned, her eyes widening in shock as a look of terror slowly appeared on her face.
"Liam, you... you..." she stammered.
"Surprised?" Liam retorted mockingly. "Isn't this the future you predicted that I wouldn't have?" His gaze became fierce.
Salt Mother shook in place, but she quickly regained her senses. "Deal with them!" she commanded, and immediately the beastmen beside her shifted forms and charged forward.
"Beauty, you hide first. These low-level beasts are no match for us," Liam instructed Lily, but before he could finish, Lily suddenly vanished from in front of him, he was still stunned frozen but then, a loud boom echoed, driving him back to the world.
Dust rose up, and as it settled, Lily appeared, one of her legs raised high in a taekwondo position. Everyone was stunned; even her mates' mouths dropped in shock as they realized that the boom sound had been caused by a beastman being blown away—by Lily.
