"Berry, you won't quit finding me trouble, will you?" Lily thought. "Err... you... you guys..."
"Do not worry; we have lots of stones with us; we aren't planning on getting your teachings for free," a female cat beast commented.
Lily smiled. "Fine, I'm not feeling well these days, so you guys should come later... no... I will ask Berry to summon you as soon as I get better," she replied.
"Alright then, get well soon," another female offered before the group left.
As soon as they were completely out of sight, Lily looked at Berry. "Seriously, you are pregnant, right? Don't you feel tired?" she scolded.
Berry chuckled and held Lily's hand. "How can I be weak? I can even practice some more rounds with my mates," she replied. "Right, you said you were sick just now. I checked your body earlier, and I confirm that you are fine," she remarked.
Lily lifted the corner of her lips slightly. "That's just a little trick to chase them away, okay? I can't stand them," she murmured.
"Oh..." Berry acknowledged.
"Find a way to convince your friends; I'm not ready to teach people perverted things," Lily stated, folding her arms together.
Berry blinked twice. "Huh! Angel..." She stared at her with a puppy gaze.
"Don't look at me like that, okay? I'm teaching nothing."
"Angel."
Lily remained silent.
"How about this: you teach me, and I will teach them myself."
Lily rolled her eyes.
"Angel."
"Alright, alright, don't eat me yet! I will teach you, but not now."
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Berry smiled happily. "Are we going to the market now?"
"She's not going to the market," Angus's voice echoed as he lifted Lily up. "Shouldn't you leave her now and spend more time with your mates?" His deadly gaze fixed on Berry.
Berry shivered. "Ern... ern... Angel, I suddenly remembered that I have something to do. I will visit you some other time," she rushed out the sentence and immediately fled without waiting for Lily's reply.
Lily's mouth twitched. "You scared her away, you know," she cast a glance at Angus.
"She's taking too much of your attention," Angus retorted, his gaze fixed on lily as if it want to check her soul.
Lily was dumbfounded. "For goodness' sake, can you stop staring at me like this! I will soon get heart bleed if this continues," she screamed inwardly but smiled on the outside.
"I will take you to a place," Angus's voice cut through the moment.
"Huh? Where?" she inquired.
"You will surely know when you get there," Liam's excited voice interrupted.
Lily cast a suspicious gaze at everyone before nodding. "Let's go then," she agreed.
...
"You're finally back, grandfather!" Viva exclaimed as he ran up to a young man with deep green eyes. The pair of cat ears on his head twitched slightly, and six prominent dots adorned his left chest. He was dressed in a sack that cleverly concealed whatever was behind him.
"Son!" The young man, who turned out to be Viva's grandfather, called out and hugged him tightly. "Look at how thin you are! It must have been hard on you, right? Don't worry; your grandfather is back. You can do as you like now," he smiled.
"Grandfather, I have something important to tell you," Viva immediately said.
"Did you find a mate?" his grandfather inquired.
Viva nodded eagerly. "She's very beautiful and fair. She only has one snake mate, but his strength is... quite high. Grandfather, I like the female. I want to be her mate, and I don't want to share her with anyone. I will lock her in at home," he declared.
Viva's grandfather rubbed his chin, a frown appearing on his face. "Fair and extremely beautiful, are you sure you saw her? You aren't dreaming, right?" he asked.
"Grandfather, I'm not! I saw her, and I want her!" Viva insisted.
"Very well then. Since you want her, I will naturally get her for you. What's her name?"
"Err... her name is a little weird," Viva rubbed the back of his head. "She said her name is Frying Pan," he replied.
"Frying Pan?" Viva's grandfather had a confused expression on his face. "From which tribe?" he questioned.
"She said Water Heater, but I think she's from the mermaid tribe."
"That's not true. Based on your description just now, she is definitely not from the mermaid tribe. Those mermaids aren't as fair and beautiful as you've said," he countered.
"I don't care which tribe she belongs to; all I want is for her to be mine."
"Sure... that's for certain," Viva's grandfather assured. Then a frown appeared on his face. "She's beautiful and fair, and her tribe is unusual as well. Could it be that she's from that tribe? That tribe was the only one with a strange culture; they never revealed their appearance, and no one knows what they look like. If she's from that place, then... " He thought. "let's go to her immediately."
"That won't do, grandfather. She's protected by the snake, and she definitely won't agree to be with me," Viva replied sadly.
"Don't be disheartened, son. Since it has come to this, we can only take her without her knowledge."
"Grandfather, what do we do?" Excitement crept onto Viva's face.
"You tell me who's close to her."
"Berry! She mentioned that the beautiful female was her beautiful sister from outside the tribe. They are definitely connected."
"Berry, huh?" Viva's grandfather smiled cunningly. "Very good tool," he remarked.
"Grandfather, you...."
"Worry not; she's already yours," he replied.

"Art! Art, what do you think you are doing? Someone! Block the entrance!" The queen's panicked voice echoed throughout. She looked miserable right now, her eyes red and her face strained with tears. She was standing in front of Art, who gazed at her emotionlessly, her arms spread as if to block his way.
"Out of my way!" Art's majestic voice dropped, his face growing cold as he looked completely determined. "Don't force me to do things I don't want to! Move!" he bellowed.
"No! You clearly know the fate of those who stubbornly reach for the stars; they can't even survive the endless steps muchless getting a single star. Even Fergus, whose strength is also at level nine, couldn't endure the climb! He died! Angus! He died!" the queen exclaimed.
"Yes, I know your strength is at level nine already, but you can't just play with your life like this! She rejected you; there will be another female who will accept you!" She protested.
"Had you not interfered with her will, she wouldn't have rejected me!" Art shouted angrily. "I am going to the sky to get the largest star for her not only to apologize but also to let her understand my feelings. If it costs me my life in the end, I will have no regrets if I can see her smile at me before I die. Get out of the way! You never wish me well from the start anyway"
The queen was badly hurt by Art harsh words but she decided not to think about it as of now. She suddenly tapped Art's chest twice in quick succession, intending to freeze him in place. "I'm sorry, but I can't let you go," more tears spilled from her eyes.
"Your rooting skills definitely have no effect on me; waste no more time," Art remarked, brushing her aside with a mere wave of his hand before leaving.
"Art!" the queen cried, feeling utterly helpless.
"Queen, why don't we hurry to that female and plead for her help? I think the dragon prince will listen to her," a maid suggested.
"That's right! That's right! She can stop him; she can stop him. Let's go immediately!" the queen exclaimed, and without any delay, she sped out.
