"Both of you, stop!" Lily exclaimed, standing between both of them immediately. "Did I even say that this child belongs to either of you?" She shouted angrily.
All eyes focused on Lily, and panic swept across their faces.
"You both get out of here! I don't want to see either of you for now!" Lily demanded.
Liam calmed down instantly and hugged Lily. "I'm sorry, Beauty, I didn't mean to anger you. It was never my intention to upset you," he apologized.
Lily closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then released herself from Liam's grip. "Leave me alone," she murmured, still showing her annoyance.
Angus lifted Lily into his arms and smiled warmly. "I was only joking; I didn't mean what I said—just messing with him a little, he was the one who take it too personal" he remarked.
Lily raised her brows suspiciously. "You're not lying to me, are you?" she questioned.
