The victory over the angel sent ripples through the enclave. News of the battle spread quickly, and soon, tamers from nearby villages and hidden enclaves began to arrive, drawn by the promise of resistance. Hiro's name was on everyone's lips, the Beast Sovereign who had faced a divine enforcer and won.
But Hiro knew that this was only the beginning. The gods would not sit idly by while tamers united against them. They would strike again, and next time, they would send something far more dangerous.
"We need to move fast," Hiro said one evening as he and his companions gathered around the fire. "We need to find more tamers and prepare for what's coming."
Thorne nodded, his eyes sharp. "There are other enclaves. Hidden, like this one. If we can reach them, we might be able to rally more tamers to our cause."
Lina's expression was determined. "And if the gods send more angels, we'll be ready."
Hiro glanced at her, a faint smile touching his lips. She had come so far since they first met in Graybrook, and now, she was one of the strongest tamers he knew. But there was still much to learn.
"We're not just building an army," Hiro said, his voice quiet but firm. "We're building a movement. The gods think they can control us, but we're going to show them that tamers are more powerful than they ever imagined."
The tamers around the fire nodded in agreement, their resolve hardening with every word.
Hiro stood, his gaze fixed on the horizon. The war with the gods was beginning, and the first battle had been won. But there were many more to come, and Hiro knew that the stakes were only getting higher.
The gods would send their strongest, but Hiro would be ready.
And when the final battle came, it wouldn't just be him standing against the gods. He would have an army at his back, and the beasts of the world would rise with him.
