She had just woken up.
Mia nodded, one of them carried you while the other held your things" her friend explained.

"Am just glad you are okay, take a day off and rest. I will tell the department head about your day off" Mia said.
"No...I can't take a day off..not now that I need every penny to get my place " she said.

Lalya had been deep in her work when she noticed the chatter around her died out.
"Layla " she heard her name called.
"Yes," she turned with the fake smile she had been giving everyone today.
"Are you okay now?" he asked.
She blinked.
He had shoulder-length black hair with crimson red eyes, a long perfect nose with amazing toned lips.
His thick eyebrow raised while he asked the question.
She frowned studying him.
"You are?" she asked.
Another gentleman standing next to him chuckled.
"I guess since you were asleep, you can't remember. But he carried you out yesterday while I held your heavy luggage "he said.
Lalya gasped.
"Oh my, it's you who helped me yesterday. Thank you very much and am sorry for being a bother " she said.
"It's alright...your things were not that heavy anyway " Gale muttered.
Lalya thanked them again.
"You know my name but I don't know yours," she said.
"Ohh..Gale knight " he said taking her hand and shaking.
Layla giggled.
She looked at the other.
"Leoric Vayne," he said to her.
"Ahh...Vayne! Isn't that the name of the company?" she asked.
Gale laughed.
"Yeah, 'cause he owns it," he said.
Lalya moved back in surprise. She had made the company director carry her out.
She always knew his name but never bothered to find out what he looked like. And since he was rarely seen it was hard to describe him.
