Chapter 6 - Sharing his Bed.

Layla heard someone knock on her door.

"Coming " she rushed opening it. "Sir..." she muttered upon seeing him

"Mother says you can't sleep," he said.

She blinked.

"Is it true?" he asked.

"Am sorry am just not used yet to my new room" she let out.

"You can sleep with me then," he said

"Huh!....with you?" she stammered.

He nodded.

"No it's alright I can manage fine here," she said.

He gazed at her, "My room is the second on the right side "

"Ahh.."

"In case you still can't sleep you can come there " he said." Goodnight Lalya ".

"Good night sir" she said and hurriedly closed the door.

She breathed trying to calm down.

"Maybe Mia is right, he does like me " she mumbled.

....

Lalya gasped waking from a nightmare.

It was the same one with the same weird creature. Red eyes blood dripping mouth and pale skin.

"That dream again " she breathed trying to calm down. Her eyes looked around the spacious room and got more scared.

Without thinking she jumped out of bed and ran out straight to the second room on the light side of the house.

"Are you awake?" she knocked on his door.

The door opened.

"Come in," he said.

She walked in and he closed the door.

"Your heartbeat... it's so loud " he said.

She placed her hand on her chest breathing.

"Am sorry I just had a nightmare and got a little scared" she explained

"Nightmare?"

She nodded.

After taking some water he had offered, Lalya had calmed down.

Yawning she looked up at him, "Thank you, let me head back to my room".

"You can stay, my bed is enough for two " he pointed.

Lalya blinked wanting to object but he stood up before she could and moved the covers.

"Come lay down," he said.

Lalya tried to silence all thoughts running in her head as she walked to where he was but failed. What if he had other intentions? But he had helped this much without asking for anything? Or he was just pitying one of his employees.....

They kept coming in until she got to the bed and lay down.

He covered her and stood back.

"Good night," she said.

He nodded, "Goodnight Lalya " then walked back and sat down in one of the chairs next to the windows his laptop on the desk.

"You're not sleeping?" she asked.

"Still have work to do," he said.

She was too exhausted to say anything more and closed her eyes. And when he got up and fixed her covers she was deeply asleep.

He smiled.
