"My lady, everyone is waiting for you please be quick or else my lord wouldn't be very happy" whispered a wavering voice from a corridor outside a rustic but beautiful door. The door opens and from within comes a beautiful pale woman who looked like she was in her mid twenties. With her shiny silver hair she looked as if the gods had sent their angel on the ground, in her white long trailed dress and green emerald necklace with gold and platinum wires around her neck she asked "Lisa, tell me how I'm looking". Lisa replied "as pretty as always my lady. You are looking so beautiful that you'd even shame heaven itself. Now should we go to the ball room or els-". "Okay-okay, geez, my god. Calm down and let's go" Rachael replied while chuckling.
Rachael Von Bathory, second daughter of a first seat noble, Boris Von Bathory. The seat of a noble describes their prestige and the lineage of their blood. Ten noble families have these seats, The first five seats are taken by the true blood nobles who were a vampire from the start but the other five are taken by nobles who were sired directly by previous queens. The ranking of their seats decides their power and influence.
The five true blood families are Bathory - the first seat, Drogo - the second seat, Faust - the third seat, Elhiss - the fourth seat and Amstel - the fifth seat. The higher their seat is, the older the family is.
Rachael walks down the stairs and her beauty was so mesmerizing that even the Queen Olga Drogo was captivated. Rachael comes down and holds her dress from both sides with her hands and bows a little in front of the queen and says "may her excellency live forever" and scoffs. "My-my, dear there's no need for all this. I'm not your mother but you are like my daughter so raise your head and give me a tight hug" laughed queen Drogo while picking Rachael up and hugging her. Olga asked Boris to come forward and take Rachael to the podium. "Just a second father, I'll be right back" whispers in her father's ear and then turns towards Olga and says "excuse me, your excellency" and she runs towards a particular area as if she wanted to meet someone and she knows where he might be. "I see, she is still as careless as always" Olga scoffs.
Olga turns back towards Boris and asks "so is she showing the signs, I mean can she, Blood Weave". "Your eminence, we don't know for sure. She can go months without even drinking a drop of blood and yet not lose a single ounce of her power. We are confused as many nobles can do that" replied Boris with a sad and tensed tone.
Boris takes a pause and questions "how are you sure your majesty, that Rachael will awaken the blood weaving and not spirit or space Weaving like her parents". Olga smiles a little and then answers "well I didn't inherit my parents powers. I'm sure today she will awake the Blood Weaving. and she'll become the strongest Blood Weaver in all of the vampire history".
"So here you are" Rachael smiles while putting her hands on her waist and continues "Jake, come on man. It's my one hundred and one birthday I'm getting my true powers today now I won't have to rely on elemental magic". "My lady, you shouldn't be here and if somebody sees you with a demon I would get in some serious trouble" replied Jake in a deep voice with a little worry. "It's fine. Don't worry nobody would dare to go against father, anyways" comforted Rachael. "so do you have any idea where José is I don't seem to contact him for some reason. he told me he'll be here for my birthday but I don't see him anywhere" asked Rachael as she was sad that her friend was late for her birthday. "don't worry my lady he contacted me early this evening. he said he suddenly had to visit his brother as he is really ill" replied Jake.
"my lady, if you don't mind asking me, may I ask you something" Jake asked for permission from Rachael before asking her. "sure, Jake. go ahead what is it". "my lady I never really understood what this awakening ceremony is and how does it work" inquired Jake.
"it's your first time seeing something like this in person, right." questioned Rachael to which Jake nodded his head, agreeing to her. "when a vampire is born, he is born with elemental magic. and every vampire can use it, even who are sired but there magic is a little weak as the vampire blood is mixed with human blood. but we of the true blood vampires awaken a second power called Weaving. now let's go to stage now I gotta thank everyone for coming let's go" Rachael explains to Jake and then grabbed his hand and ran towards the stage while Jake kept asking her to leave his hand or people won't too pleased.
Everyone started whispering that how can a demon hold hands with a noble vampire and that's so a first seat noble. "Greetings, to everyone. I Rachael Von Bathory am turning one hundred and one so stop whispering, please" Rachael requested from the podium. "Or else I'll cut your heads instead of my cake. So shut up and pay your respects to the queen and me, please" said Racheal while dropping her eyes and started glaring with a cold smile.
