The next morning in Rachael's room, somebody knocks on the door. "just a moment I'll be right there" shouts Rachael in a joyful tone. Rachael opens the door to find the guest was none other than José and Jake.
"So should I call you Rachael or her majesty" José mockingly asked Rachael. "And what should I call you. Old man or teacher José" replied Rachael while chuckling. "my lady, your car is here. we should depart for London right away. it's a long way from Edinburgh" suggested Jake. "okay, but where father i didn't see him after yesterday. where is he. I wanted to meet him before I went to London" questioned Rachael. "I am leaving for 5 years and he couldn't even come to see me off" stormed Rachael. "my lady, he'll be here any minute don't worry. He had to complete some security of the mansion again. because of yesterday's Mayhem" answered José. "okay, let's go downstairs" Rachael ordered both of them.
as Rachael was walking downstairs she could already see her father waiting for her to come down. she goes near him and stands in front of him. "Father, how am I looking?" asked Rachael. "well my dear, you look beautiful as always. now remember, your aunt is a crazy woman but try to learn from her. She is really powerful and you can learn a lot from her. And if you ever need something just call me okay. and take care of yourself" advised Boris while patting her head. "should we go now it's a long way, father" asked Rachael while getting butterflies in her stomach. "okay dear. Umm, Jake, José, can you come here for a second. look Rachael has never been to the outer world. Please keep her safe. There are people who might hurt her" ordered Boris.
"don't worry my lord, we'll keep her safe no matter what, please rest assured" comforted José while bowing a little. "I think we should go now" suggested Jake while bowing his head a little. "sure, may God keep you safe" blessed Boris and hints them to go. Jake and José walk towards Rachael and Jake opens the door for her. "what were you guys talking about" asked Rachael while sitting down in the car. "nothing important, my lady" said Jake while closing the door. Jake walks towards the driving seat and sits down. he starts the engine and asks guards to open the barricades.
"By the Way José how's the outer world. I mean are people weird or something? are they hostile towards vampires?" questioned Rachael. José starts explaining a little about the outer world to Rachael. he told her that as a member of a true blood family she can walk in the sunlight but she should still stay away from silver. he also told her about the church. that, how they wanna destroy the demons, witches and vampires. And if she ever sees a man in black robe with a crucifix rosary in his hand or around his neck she should get away from him as quickly as possible they want to kill a vampire, and if they find out that you are a first seat, god knows what they will do to her.
"my god, but why do they do all this, what did we ever do to them" questioned Rachael. Before José could answer it Rachael said that she could smell human blood and that so ten of them, hiding the bushes. Jake looks in the rear mirror and signs José in order to get a command. suddenly the car went out of control and Jake had to use the emergency brakes. "is Everybody alright" inquired José. both Rachael and Jake nodded and told they were fine but Rachael got bleeding a little. Everybody gets out of the car only to find that they are surrounded by ten people. All of them in black robes with a gun in hand and crucifix around their neck. "so these are the people of church, huh. Interesting" said Jake while he looked around. before anybody could say anything all ten of them froze. "wait what's going on how did they stop moving, Rachael did you do something" questioned José. "yupp, I just used a simple mind control. isn't it obvious. but why did you asked?" replied Rachael.
"Jake can you just take those weapons first. we don't know how long it will work" José commands Jake and then continues "O earth, your gifts are kind, make them yours and tie them in your bind. Earth binding". suddenly the land under their feet started changing their shape. It suddenly became a chain made of dirt but it got so solid it couldn't possibly be broken by force.
" José why did you ask that, was it me who controlled them. Isn't it obvious because demons can't do mind control and you didn't do it yourself" questions Rachael. "Because, vampires' powers don't work on the people of the church. You see that rosary, it makes them immune somehow to mind control and other things"
As José was explaining everything, one of them freed himself from mind control and he undo the earth binding. Suddenly he started whispering the incantation so that nobody notices him "O holy light, for jesus may all mourn, take this vampire's spawn. Holy swo--" before he could complete his head falls from his body. "What was he doing? Anyways this scythe can actually cut that's a good thing" Said Rachael while taking her blood back in.
"Umm, wait, when did you? You know what never mind" José of startled for a minute that how did she kill him so fast, but then he remembers he is talking about vampires.
"So what do we do now with these people" asked Rachael. "Lemme make some calls. We are near the border of London, I'll ask lady Vanessa to handle all this" replied José while bringing out his phone.
