Meilin pushed the door open, a glass cup was thrown in her direction. Due to her quick reflex she dodged it. It wasn't the first time an object was thrown at her, so she learnt to dodge them without hurting her face.
"Mum, look at her she dodged it," Qian screamed her lungs out.
Mei walked slowly into the sitting room, and bowed to Mrs Chen, her stepmother.
Mrs Chen stood up and slapped her.
"You this wicked girl!! After killing my husband, you still want to take everything from my daughter?"
Mei held her face, she couldn't shed a single tear, she was already used to the treatment.
"Mum, she got the first place to model for Miu Miu. I am sure she is sleeping with one of the executives!!" said Qian as she stood up and dragged off the jacket Mei wore.
"Why will you…..," Mei couldn't complete her statement and a sound slap fell on her face.
She fell to the ground and Qian dragged the jacket on the floor.
"Mum it's a man's jacket, she sleeps around with men. Everybody in the industry knows this," Qian added.
"You this Slut, if not for your father, I would never have let a prostitute's daughter into my house," Mrs Chen barked angrily.
Qian sticks out her tongue at Mei, to shame her.
Mei still on the floor, she couldn't say a word. She was just fighting back her building tears.
"Your mother was so greedy to give birth to you, thinking she can enter into this family. Did she think I would let her into my house? A poor church rat!!" said Mrs Chen.
"Mum, she is a slut!! She can't change, it's in her blood. Just like her mother!! Please send her out of China and let her retire. I don't want her in this industry again, she always take every job that is mine," Qian chipped in.
"(Chuckled inwardly) Me a slut? I guess you forgot I just caught you in my boyfriend's bed. You were f*cking him like a whore. Does your Almighty mother knows I just caught you in a man's bed?" Meilin muttered under her breath, she couldn't say it out for fear of being beaten.
"Mum! she has hickeys on her neck!!!" Qian screamed her lungs out pointing at Meilin .
Meilin tries to cover it with her hands, Qian drags her hand out.
"Mum see!!" she exclaimed happily.
"Hickeys?? You this little slut!! So my teachings hasn't sink into your brain? You still do such shameless things." Mrs Chen said, dragging her from the hair to the center of the room.
"Mum, teach her family rules!!," Qian says smiling mischievously.
"Butler Han!!" Mrs Chen screamed.
"Yes Ma," Butler Han responded running to the sitting room.
"Get me my Whip!!" says Mrs Chen.
Qian runs inside following the butler to get the whip.
"Meilin, after all my teachings. You still go around sleeping with men," says Mrs Chen pointing her forehead.
"Mrs Chen, I did not," says Meilin with a low voice shivering.
Her hands were trembling, remembering that after receiving this whip, she won't be able to sit for a week.
Qian ran down with the butler, she was smiling like she had won a lottery. "Mum, look at it," she passed it to her Mum.
"Lay down flat!!" Mrs Chen said.
"Mrs Chen, I am sorry please have mercy on me. I have a shoot tomorrow, I can't go out with an injury." says Mei, the tears she was holding was already falling like rain.
"Lie down!! Who cares about your shoot," says Qian laughing.
"Butler!! Hold her down," says Mrs Chen.
The Butler and Qian held her two hands while Mrs Chen whipped her the first one.
"This Slut!! I told you for as long as I am alive, you won't end up like your mother." says Mrs Chen while she whipped her the second time.
Meilin biting on her tongue and lip till she bled, so she could endure the pains.
Meilin shut her eyes tight as the third and Fourth landed on her waist. The pain went straight into her head down to her Vagina. She felt an urgent urge to urinate on herself but she held it in. The Fifth and Sixth one came like a tonardo on her back, it was like her backbone has dislocated.
Muchen barged in as he saw Mei on the floor, he rushed to them and stopped his mother.
"Mother, I called her here not for you to abuse her. Remember Dad said you should take her as your daughter." Muchen complained bitterly.
"Muchen, this girl is poisonous. She stole Qian's endorsement from the fashion company. She also came back wearing a man's jacket, if I don't discipline her who will? I am also her mother, so I am educating my daughter." Mrs Chen defended.
"Look at her neck, see hickeys on it. I don't know which wild man did this to her,"
"Big Brother if you think we are lying, look at her neck there are hickeys everywhere." Qian pointed at the hickeys Haoyu left on Mei's neck.
Mei has a white porcelain skin, so things like that are very visible.
"How did you get this on your neck?" asked Muchen as he inspected her neck. He helped her up from the floor.
"Who did this? Did anyone force himself on you? tell big brother,"
Mei's face went pale, she didn't know what to say to her overprotective brother. He goes crazy if anyone does anything to her.
Men that approached her, he was ready to make them crippled.
"Who did it? talk!!" Muchen barked, his voice echoed in the mansion.
"It's…I.. I," Mei stuttered.
"If you tell big brother I will cut off his leg."
"She won't say anything. Can't you see she is guilty of the crime?" Mrs Chen added to the already blazing fire.
"Brother just tell her to retire, after all her husband is back." Qian chipped in a mocking tone.
"What husband??" Mei screamed ignoring the pains.
"Answer my question first," Muchen screamed at her.
She shut her eyes in fear.
"Its..Its..," Mei stuttered and pointed at Qian.
"Why are you pointing at me? Did I send you to a man?"
"Did you see what she is doing?" Mrs Chen said pointing at Mei.
Mei suddenly started crying, the tears she held back fell freely.
"Brother Muchen, I didn't want to say it out loud. Because of family harmony, but I will say it. Qian sent me a box of chocolate today, she shared it with everyone on set." said Mei, tearing bitterly.
Qian looked to the ground, she wanted to run away. But Muchen held her hand.
"The chocolate she gave me, I ate it. After some time, my neck turned red. When the doctor came he said shrimps were added to the cake. Everybody in this house knows I am allergic to shrimp. She said I was sleeping with men and had this. Call everyone on set today and they will testify Qian sent me chocolate today. I nearly died today Brother," Mei explained bitterly.
"I won the competition farly, I never did such a thing.
"Qian, is it true?" Muchen inquired.
"Yes, I sent her a chocolate cake but I didn't know there were shrimps in it. I wasn't the one that baked it, my manager bought it." Qian defended.
"Mei, why didn't you say it since. Now I have whipped you for nothing. Muchen, it was a mistake from Qian's side. Let's just forget about it and talk about why we called her here." Mrs Chen said, trying to end the discussion.
"A mistake? Qian apologize to your sister right now." Muchen fired back.
"Am..sorry.." Qian apologized half heartedly and angrily went to her seat.
Mei couldn't walk to the couch, she was limping. Muchen had to help her to couch, she sat down side ways. Her back and butt hurts like crazy, since she is used to the pains she could endure it.
"The Li family is requesting to marry you, before you will say I am pushing you to marry. Your father signed the marriage contract with them. So there is nothing we can do to stop it." Mrs Chen proudly announced.
"No, I refuse. I don't want to get married, you will have to reject the marriage." Mei retorted with teary eyes.
"Just obediently go and marry your crippled fiance." Qian added.
"Cripped?" Mei asked surprised, because she knew they wouldn't give such marriage to her if the groom didn't have a flaw.
"Yes, everyone said he is crripled he just came back from the US." Mrs Chen said.
"Mei, I am sorry I can't do anything to stop it. Dad signed it before he died." Muchen pleaded.
"So you mean Dad sold me out? Even if it is Dad's plan. I won't get married," Mei declared as she stood up limping.
"Then you will have to leave my house, change the surname. Quit modeling, run away to where I will never set my eyes on you in this life." says Mrs Chen not looking at her.
"Butler Han!! Go upstairs and Pack second Lady clothes. She is leaving my house!!"
