Chapter 3 - The Mama

Are you aware of the reasons why you should never, ever anger a mother? Because when you cross the line involving their children, they turn into your worst nightmare.

And you ought to be afraid, babe.

"You look good, girl," Eve commented in crossed arms while giving the looks it's-my-dress-and-make-up-huh.

"Don't say words that you didn't mean, my friend." Rebecca stands up and walks towards the mirror, scanning her symmetrical, angelic face. "And drop me at the sexy cafe near the supermarket." She continued and then put on some lip gloss.

She then took a glance at her friend, who is now raising her right eyebrow and hands on her waist.

"Please, my best friend," she says with matching pouty lips. "Gross. Don't do that again," Eve said with a grimaced face. "And you better teach that b*tch a once in a lifetime lesson." Rebecca smiled.

Like a passing storm, everything finally falls into its place, or, should I say, it just came back to where they really belong, but, of course, there always be an aftermath effect—so, brace yourselves.

Eve dropped off Rebecca at the nearest street towards the sexy cafe since she has a prior engagement and couldn't take another fifty meters drive away.

"My dear friend, please get the fvck off my car," Eve says with the sweetest smile she has. "I never imagined you knew how to smile like that, my dearest friend," Rebecca retorted. "It must be your lucky day witnessing such a beautiful smile, ain't you?" Eve replied, showing off her healthy gums again—so healthy that you might even wonder where her teeth must have hidden—and which made Rebecca speechless.

'My friend's face must have made with tons of books, nice and thick.'

"Get off now, Ca! I'm going to be late; I have a da-," she stopped and made sure her tongue touched the roof of her mouth to leave a very unpleasant sound with a little spice of her saliva all over the place. "-te," Eve continued, pronouncing the date word in a peculiar way using her tongue, which resembles the tongue of a four-legged animal. A dawg.

"I wish you a pleasant day, and may that tongue be put to use today, my dear Eve." Rebecca retorted and got off at Eve's car.

As Rebecca walks on the busy street of the town of Sierro, it somehow makes her feel alive.

The weather is refreshing like the past few days—not too sunny; it's a bit cloudy, but the breeze won't make you shiver. A perfect day for a nice walk in the street. In fact, Rebecca didn't even notice that she had already arrived at the set location.

And as soon as she entered the cafe, her eyes immediately caught the person that her fist was dying to touch. The smile in her face made Rebecca grit her teeth.

"How are you doing, my dearest sister-in-law?" Hena asked, smiling from ear to ear.

Hena Col Aldine, wife of Rafael Aldine, the eldest son of the Aldine family, is her sister-in-law, a self-proclaimed super star that is always hungry for attention. A slave of the lame spot light.

Rebecca looked at her from head to toe. She was still the same wannabe star, wearing a white fur coat matched with her heavy make-up and her signature big bun hair. On top of that, she also put on sunglasses—so big that someone might mistakenly think she has two more heads; she also wears white silk gloves.

"Are you cold, Hena?" Rebecca asked before she inspected the tea cup in front of her.

"Not really, but this fur coat just rotting in my cabinet leaves me no choice but to wear it at least once, since my husband bought it for me, don't you agree?" She asked, emphasizing the word husband while smiling from ear to ear.

"Hmm," Rebecca responded, nodding while sniffing the tea.

Well, for her, there is nothing new in this kind of situation. They will always mock her in any chance they have; in fact, this kind of level of mistreatment is not even worth giving attention compared to the other things they did to her; way much worse than this.

"Hmp! If you are going to apologize, do it faster so that I can consider your unsightly behavior yesterday," she demanded before sipping a cup of tea.

Hena already expected that Rebecca will kneel to her while crying her heart out. Given that she doesn't have anyone to protect her or stand beside her, she assumes that she could devour her anytime since she is much worse than being just a peasant. Hena smiled just thinking that Rebecca will break anytime now. It makes her feel powerful and above her.

'C'mon maggot beg and cry, like what you always do.'

Hena couldn't take her eyes off Rebecca; it excited her knowing that Rebecca might be contemplating due to her action yesterday.

But, on the other hand, Rebecca was actually thinking about how she should teach her a lesson, knowing Hena she'll make everything out of proportion and will even use social media to manipulate other people's opinions—Hena's specialty.

And Rebecca smiled with the thought of it. Why does she even need to dirty her own hands if she can simply use Hena's own weapon? After all, she should also have a taste of her own medicine.

"The hell are you saying, big head?" Rebecca scoffed. She forcefully put down the tea cup, which left an unpleasant sound and caught the other customers attention.

Hena is caught off guard; she is shocked by Rebecca's sudden response. The Rebecca she knew will never behave like this. In the past, she would shake in fear if someone mentioned that she disgraced the family; therefore, a behavior like this is unacceptable.

"What do you think your doing?" Hena asked while cautiously looking side by side. The last thing she'll want now is to ruin her presence on social media because of Rebecca. "Are you provoking me?" she asked. "Dumb Hena, you're finally using your head now, huh? Good thing it's big enough." Rebecca retorted, pointing her head and loud enough to let the other near tables heard.

Hena suddenly panicked when the other tables started murmuring, "You'll regret doing it; I'll make sure you pay for it, you fvcking divorcee, Yeah, did you hear that? She's a divorcee, a disgrace, in fact, she's only worth—" Before Hena could even finish her sentence, Rebecca's palm already touched her face, "Oops, my hand just couldn't wait." Rebecca scoffed.

"How dare you—" Hena attempted to talk again but got interrupted with Rebecca's slap instead. "I told you to wait, you stupid hand?! Damn it," she retorted while talking to her own palm.

Hena, on the other hand, is now seething with anger; her face is turning red and loosening her reasons; she just wants Rebecca to die in humiliation, so she grabs her tea cup and splashes it on Rebecca, then she maliciously laughs like a mad woman.

Rebecca knew that Hena would do something like this; that's why she provoked her—guess not all with big heads are smart. When Hena finally calmed down and sank in what she had done. She immediately stormed out of the cafe without looking back.

Hena didn't waste any time and immediately ran towards the parking. Before she even pulled out her car key, she made sure to contact her secretary first to silence the other customers using money; of course, she wouldn't want any leaked photos or videos in this accident.

"I don't care how much! Just silence those peasants!" She exclaimed, then ended the call. "You forgot something." A familiar voice made her look back. "Rebecca?!—" "My gift, stupid b*tch."

And just like that, Rebecca's fist finally reunited with Hena's face; she lost her balance and slammed down the floor.

"Serves you right. Do not approach, my children, ever again, you understand?"

With a bloody nose and shaking legs, Hena nodded her head uncontrollably.
