'Today is a very important meeting I can't mess it up'

Running down the stairs Oliver thought to himself as he prepared to leave in a hurry.

"Don't rush so mush you will be fine" said Jessica while giving Oliver his lunch.

He smiled as he hugged her "I know I am just nervous" he said as he started walking towards the door.

Today was a big day for Oliver as he was about to meet the meet major investors for his startup company, if he succeed today will begin his journey for a rich life that he always wanted to give to his brother and sister.

Since the death of their parents in car accident Raj Oliver's big brother have to leave his studies and join the workforce early so that his brother and sister can live a life better than his, complete their studies and pursue what they want without bending their dreams to circumstances.

As he boarded the bus for the meeting hall he got a new notification on his phone about a certain novel.

'ohh the author completed the novel today, i haven't had the time to read it lately'

'The novel was almost at the end with protagonist finally fighting the last boss after so many regressions' the bus was almost at the stop so he turned the phone off as he didn't have the time to read more about the novel as he got out of the bus ready for the meeting.

'good luck to me, I can do it'

Encouraging himself Oliver made his way towards the meeting hall, but as he was crossing the road suddenly the sky brightened, blue sky started to turn white as a ray of pure slivery light descended on Oliver as if the heaven has chosen him for something greater than life.

Everyone watched in awe as the pillar of silvery light slowly took hold of Oliver and ascended him to heaven(sky) so thought everyone as his figure disappeared into the sky leaving everyone astonished, but not for long as something more astonishing happened soon after.

Oliver's POV

As soon as the silvery light piler descended on me I felt the light enter my body as if its reaching for something deeper something even i don't know about but soon all the stress and nervousness left my body as a refreshing and soothing calmness spread through my whole being, I started losing consciousness entering a space of complete darkness but my mind remained calm as soon forgot where I was or what I was doing.

But as I opened my eyes again I was assaulted with a severe headache like I was having the most brutal hangover ever possible, it calmed down slowly as I started to make some sense of the situation I was in.

Opening his eyes and looking around as far Oliver could see was covered in large trees far larger than any tree he had ever seen the forest looked like some giant's adobe with trees hundreds of meters long and very sparse sunlight that made the place barely visible.

Around him was a circle of weird symbols and runes that looked like something straight out a fantasy game etched on the ground glowing dimly.

'where in the world is this place and what was that light'

All he could think was that he was kidnapped, but that was not possible as he was not worth enough for all that effort or he was teleported here that sounded more impossible, after racking his brain for almost half an hour he sighed and said.

"status"

As soon as he said that a blue holographic screen appeared before his eyes and froze, Oliver tried to touch the screen but his hands just passed through it as the realisation settled in his brain his eyes turned moist, his body started to shake, the forest started to spiral, and his cries started to reverberate in the forest.

"NO NO NO NOOO!!!"
