Arthur was surprised by Oliver's victory over the shadow werewolf, he didn't expect Oliver to win against an opponent a complete rank higher than even if the werewolf was not after his life it was not a small feat, this proofs the feeling he was getting from the kids soul were not wrong there was definitely something special about the kid and on a scale larger than he can imagine.
"You will be our hope in the future rest well for now but be prepared because we don't have much time left to save everything".
That was the last thing Oliver heard as he lost his consciousness but could feel the grave tone in Arthur's words as he said the last parts.
The next day at the medical hall of the academy Arthur was sitting on the chair by the side of Oliver who still asleep.
"Poor kid had fight wild animals till he entered mana overload due to overuse of mana, if you haven't reached there at time I don't know what would have happened to the kid" said the nurse looking after Oliver.
"Yeah what would have happened to him if I wasn't there right, hahaha" Arthur laughed nervously at the tense atmosphere of the room.
There was a small movement on the bed as Oliver woke up slowly as he looked around to find himself in hospital like room, with principal Arthur sitting besides making a face as if he is forced to bitter pills.
'That certainly ruins mood'.
"Hey kid don't make that face I won't dress as a nurse to greet you as soon as you wake up" said Arthur.
"That would be more disgusting" said Oliver making a disgusting expression.
"hahahah" "hahaha" both of them laughed.
"You okey kid any pain or problems in mana circulations" inquired Arthur with worried expression.
"Yes perfectly fine, ready to fight another werewolf" replied Oliver smirking.
"You don't need to do that you are already selected, academy will start in 5 days be prepared, take this watch it have everything you need related to academy and also my personal number not many people have that in the world and also an emergency device that will alert me if you are ever in life threating danger, so don't do stupid things for which I have to save you" explained Arthur.
"This is certainly convenient having the worlds strongest coming to save me, haha" replied Oliver.
"That's your value kid remember it always" said Arthur.
"Will remember" replies Oliver.
"So what you planning to do now, you can live here until academy start or do you want to do something else" asked Arthur with a knowing looking.
"Why ask when you know, I will go somewhere for somedays but I will return before the start of the academy" said Oliver.
"Ok be safe, remember never remove the watch or I will know and don't hesitate to call if you encounter a problem you can't handle, don't expect luck to save you" ordered Arthur with a stern look.
"I will follow all your orders and don't worry too much I not going anywhere dangerous" reassured Oliver as he sat up and started walking towards Arthur.
"See you soon principal Arthur" said Oliver with handshake while Arthur hugged him.
"Yeah see you soon kid don't do anything stupid" said Arthur.
With good byes done Oliver prepared to leave for the mountains particularly Himalayans which in this world are even higher than before due to cataclysmic shift of tectonic plates in the world, on those mountain in a lake high up the Himalayas is special space that stores the egg of dragon.
Dragons are the most powerful race of this world more blessed with mana than elves, more stronger than demons, even bigger than giants, they are just the top of everything but due to all these advantages they have one disadvantage that may top all those advantages that is there number is predetermined by law.
There number can never exceed a set number of dragon determined by the world, even in the novel there was only 4 dragons present throughout till apocalypse, out of these 4 dragons 1 is already dead, 1 will be an adult by now as far as i can remember and 2 are eggs from the start that are reveled later in the story when they reach adulthood and leave their domains the light and dark dragons.
So in the novel after many regressions our protagonist Ryan finally finds the origin of all 4 dragons in the world and discovers the birth realms of the two baby dragons, but you may wonder why one needs a baby dragon egg well it can be used to get a dragon factor to become a literal dragon as one grows now ain't that a great power boost not only dragon other powerful creature's eggs are used the same way to get stronger than humanly possible, but for me still it is cold hearted way to power as they absorb another being in them for power.
But to leave this world I need power, power to break any wall in my way even if that power comes at the cost of others I am ready to accept it.
Coming here is sure a gamble if Ryan too comes for this egg than it will be a wasted trip as he would have already gotten if he came as I am late coming here, but as much as I know him he will not come for this dark dragon egg as he has been using the light dragon for many past regressions continuously and even when he was at his strongest he was a light dragon.
Now for why he won't try to get both eggs there is simple logical reason that it won't work, Ryan is a big hoarder he collects everything that he can even if it will be of use or not he just wants everything so he can have a new solution to the problems to find a way out the cycle, and this leads to him trying to absorb the essence of both light and dark dragons in one regression that resulted in instant death, he didn't try that after ever.
So with everything sorted and destination set I set foot on the teleportation rune build in the academy to get me to nearest place to the Himalayas after which I boarded a train for a soothing rides through valleys and hills to the highest point any transportation can take me, the journey was relaxing a break from the continuous stress that I faced till now but even that ended and now I standing at around 6000mtr above sea level from here its all climbing as no one lives in these area there is no facilities for anything.
"Hoh up we go a 30km climb nothing much".
