Chapter 1: Among Us
The sky was a brilliant blue, with only a few wispy clouds scattered across it. People went about their daily lives, oblivious to the fact that their world was about to change forever.
Suddenly, a colossal being materialized outside the Earth's atmosphere. Its sheer scale was awe-inspiring, casting a shadow over the planet. The being's presence was so massive that it eclipsed the sun, casting an otherworldly glow over the landscape.
Gasps and screams filled the air as people pointed and stumbled backward in shock. Governments scrambled to issue statements, but none could explain the phenomenon.
The being opened it's magnificent sliver blue eyes that seems to magnify it's presence to the world,who referred to itself as the Celestial, spoke in a voice that resonated within every human mind.
"Greetings, inhabitants of Earth. I am the Celestial, who's the co-creator of this universe and your world. I have come to inform you that your universe will merge with two others in two days' time. This will bring about changes to your world and your species as a whole."
Dr. Patel, a renowned astrophysicist, stumbled forward, her eyes wide with wonder. "W-what does it mean? What kind of changes?"in a horrified but calm expression.
The Celestial after processing everyone thought's and emotion understood that it won't be easy for them continued, "I am a celestial a being from a realm beyond your understanding, a realm where universes are born and die. I am a guardian, a guide, and a catalyst for evolution. And I have come to prepare you for the next stage of your journey.Fear not, for I am here to ensure your survival and prosperity."
The Celestial continued, "The merge will bring about a new era for humanity. Your world will be transformed, and your species will be reborn. But I will not be here to guide you through it. You have two days to prepare. Use them wisely."
As the Celestial finished speaking, it vanished as suddenly as it appeared.
As the Celestial's words sank in, chaos erupted. Some people wept, while others prayed. World leaders scrambled to respond, but the Celestial's presence was overwhelming.
The United Nations held an emergency assembly to address the Celestial's announcement. Representatives from every country gathered, eager to understand the implications of the universe merge.
Dr. Patel, now a key advisor to the UN, stood before the assembly. "The Celestial's words have left us with more questions than answers. We must work together to understand the science behind this phenomenon and its consequences for our world. Dr Patel' spoke without delay.
"Can someone first please explain what is going on,We need to understand what this being is talking about," said the President of the United States with fear in his eyes.
"We need to know how to prepare," added the Prime Minister of China. Someone admist the group of individuals gathered said something no one else expected him to say. The secretary-general of the UN stood as he said his thoughts out loud.
"Am sure everyone here will think am crazy or foolish for saying this, but is there anything we can do about the celestial after all it may be a god among us?" he said it in a calmed tone but the weight of his words had already hit the back of every person in the room, bringing them to the realization that if the being that called itself a celestial if it wanted a snap of it fingers was enough to kill, if not destroy the planet itself. Dr Patel had realize that he was right,so she asked "so what do you think we should do sir"
he looks at her with an amused smile that looks like he's about to laugh from a joke with his left hand on his forehead he replies "Am supposed to be the one asking you that question, after all you are a renowned cosmologist not the other way around, aren't you scientist?" she was contemplating on what to do before he continued"there is one thing I can say is of importance"everyone looked at him waiting for his next words.
"We need to work together," said the Secretary-General of the UN. "We need to put aside our differences and prepare for the unknown we may not be able to do anything about the celestial but the citizens around the world won't stay still."after much discussion the meeting ended
But as they left the meeting room, they couldn't shake off the feeling that time was running out.
The next day,the world teetered on the brink of chaos. Riots broke out in cities worldwide, and economies began to destabilize. people around the world began to question and and ask the world leaders for answer's but to no avail.
The Celestial watched over humanity silently, its presence a constant reminder of the transformation to come.
Two days And then, the merge.
The Celestial's words echoed in their minds, a constant reminder of the unknown that lay ahead for their species.
A low hum, like the quiet buzzing of a million bees, began to build in intensity. The air vibrated with an otherworldly energy, and the skies began to ripple and distort.
The countdown had begun for mankind and it's planet.
