Chapter 6: ALPHA class
The arena resounded with applause as students and instructors cheered for more. Director Elwes approached Benzamin, her eyes sparkling with excitement and tinged with trepidation.
"Benzamin, your control over your talent is... unprecedented," she said, her voice filled with awe. "We will need to reevaluate our understanding of human potential it seems."
Benzamin's smile faltered, his left eye still radiating a faint red glow. "I'm just getting started," he said, his voice low and confident.
As Director Elwes approached Benzamin, Professor Ryker hurried to her side. "Director, I think you should see this," Professor Ryker said, holding up a holographic display.
Director Elwes raised an eyebrow. "What is it, Professor?"
"It's Benzamin's file," Professor Ryker explained, straightening his glasses. "I pulled it up as soon as I saw his demonstration."
The holographic display flickered to life, revealing Benzamin's information:
Name: Benzamin Red'lux
Talent: Nil (Classified as Combat Type - Temporary)
High School Graduate: B-rank By normal standard (Exceptional skills)
High School Points: 98
Additional Notes:
- No recorded talent manifestation during high school years.
- Exceptional physical abilities and combat skills.
- Recommendation from anonymous source.
Director Elwes's eyes widened, her mind racing with the implications of Benzamin's talent. "This can't be right. How did he gain entry without a talent?"
Professor Ryker shook his head. "I've reviewed the admissions process. Benzamin's application was flagged for special consideration. The anonymous source guaranteed his potential."
Magnus Darkfire, who had been observing Ben from a distance, stepped forward. "Ma'am, I think Benzamin's demonstration speaks for itself. He's clearly talented."
Director Elwes turned to Magnus. "Agreed, Magnus". she replied "But this raises more questions. Benzamin's file shows no talent manifestation during high school. How did he develop this... ability?" she thinks feeling confused.
Benzamin, still smiling from his demonstration, chimed in, "Pardon me, but is my assessment over, Director?"
Professor Ryker nodded. "Yes, that should complete the tests. You may go rest with the others."
The group began walking toward the academy's main hall, surrounded by murmuring students.
"What about his talent classification?" Director Elwes asked.
"Temporary, for now," Professor Ryker replied. "Until we understand the nature of his abilities, we can't classify it yet."
As they entered the hall, the students parted, staring at Benzamin with a mix of awe and curiosity. Benzamin had become the academy's new sensation.

The First Day at the Academy
The sun rose over the Aurora Academy, casting a warm glow over the sprawling complex. Students from all three races bustled about, eager to begin their first day.
Professor Elijah Nightshade stood at the podium, surveying the crowd. "Welcome, young minds, to the Aurora Academy! Today marks the beginning of your journey towards greatness."
"Our academy's history dates back to the early days of the merged universe. Founded by Dr. Sophia Patel, our institution aims to foster cooperation and understanding among the three races."
As the Headmaster spoke, a holographic display behind him illuminated, showcasing the academy's history.
"Now, before we proceed to the Talent Assessment Ceremony," Headmaster Orion announced, "each of you possesses a unique talent that you haven't yet grasped. Today, we will discover what you have done to improve them and categorize them."
The first student, an Aether named Lyra, stepped forward.
Talent: "Aero Deflection," allowed her to manipulate air currents.
category: Elemental attribute
Rank:(A) stage 2
Next, a Terrakai student named Arin
Talent:"Geo Empathy," which granted him the ability to communicate with the earth.
Category: Psychic attribute
Rank:(N) Stage 5
Then a human named Simon

Magnus, seated among the humans, listened intently as Professor Elijah Nightshade continued, "Our Talent Ranking System categorizes students into five tiers:
Novice (N)
Adept (A)
Master (M)
Elite (E)
Legendary (L)."
Magnus's turn arrived. His talent, "Technomatrix," enabled him to merge and create technology with his mind.
categorized as (E) Stage 3
A few students gasps at Magnus results.
"Wow, my talent is at adept (N) stage 3, cool, and am almost at the Adept level" a student stated excitedly.
"I know, right?" a Terrakai student replied. "I've always felt a connection to the earth, but I never knew I was communicating with it."
An Aether student snorted. "Please, my talent is far Superior at stage 5 (A) Adept the last stage, just a bit more and i will reach (M) Master. I can deflect entire ground troops with a flick of my wrist."
Magnus smiled, feeling a sense of belonging among his peers. "We all have talents, so let's not get ahead of ourselves."
After a few hours of conducting the talent assessment on every student who passed the application test, Finally it was Benzamin turn, a 15-year-old human with an air of caution, worry, and quiet confidence, stepped forward for his evaluation.
The assessors, a mix of humans, Aethers, and Terrakai, operated the advanced technology that would reveal his talent.
"Name: Benzamin Red'lux. Talent: Unknown."
The assessors exchanged perplexed glances, their eyes scanning the data on their screens.
"That's impossible," whispered a Terrakai instructor, her voice laced with concern. "Our technology can't be fooled. It's never happened before."
"Try again," Director Elwes instructed, her curiosity piqued.
The assessors repeated the process, but the results remained the same. After the fourth try, however:
Talent: Apex Light Weaver.
Category: potential (domain) attribute
Rank:(L)Legendary stage 2.
The room fell silent, with all eyes on Benzamin. Students buzzed with excitement, discussing what Benzamin's talent and abilities could be.
"That's amazing!" a human student exclaimed. "I've never seen anything like it."
Unbelievable," Magnus whispered, stunned by what he was seeing, he had heard of potential talent holders but for him to come across one was unprecedented, unexpected.
The academy's assessment had concluded, and the future looked brighter than ever.
Headmaster Orion cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention. "Now that the Talent Assessment Ceremony has concluded, let us move on to the rules and regulations of the academy."but he kept looking at benzamin suspiciously.
A holographic display flickered to life, outlining the academy's guidelines:
- Respect and cooperation among all students, regardless of race or talent.
- Attendance and punctuality are mandatory for all classes and activities.
- Use of talents for personal gain or malicious purposes is strictly prohibited.
- Students are expected to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Curfew is at 10 PM sharp; students found outside their dorms after curfew will face disciplinary action.
"Remember, these rules are in place to ensure your safety and success," Headmaster Orion emphasized. "Failure to comply will result in consequences, including detention, expulsion, or even talent suppression."
Magnus nodded, taking mental note of the rules.
"Now, let us proceed to the section assignments," Headmaster Orion announced. "Students will be divided into four class units: Red, Blue, yellow and Green, and three sections: Omega, Beta, and Gamma. Each section will have its unique curriculum, tailored to the students' talents and abilities."
He continued, "The class unit is divided based on your respective talent attribute:
Physical attributes: Green
psychic attribute: blue
Elemental attribute: yellow
potential attribute: Red
"Support, construction, and production.
Exploration, tech-support, and research-oriented talents route will be open and taught to you."he said.
The students were led to a large screen displaying their section assignments.
Magnus found himself in Unit Red, Section Alpha, along with Lyra and Arin.
"Alpha class?" Magnus thought, confused. "i thought i would be placed in blue."
"As for each section," Headmaster Orion explained:
- Unit Green will focus on advanced control of the respective talent.
- Unit Blue will focus on advanced application of technological integration and innovation with talent.
- Unit Red will focus on....
The Headmaster paused, surveying the room.
"Those of you in Section Alpha will be joining an elite group, pushing the boundaries of talent and research. You will work on projects that integrate talent with technology, exploring new frontiers and pushing your talents to the limit."
The students mentioned for Section Alpha were:
- Magnus Di'Onyx: Blue
- Benzamin Red'lux: Red
- Clara Hart'Frost: Red
- Lyra Frostbite: Red
- Damian Asphalt: Blue

And a few other students, totaling 15.
As the students made their way to their respective sections, Magnus felt a thrill of excitement.
