Boss had brought Gray to a training room. Clearly, Gray needed to be whipped into shape before he could actually start working to fight Anarghosts and get rid of his sentence.
Boss: "First order of business, getting you a weapon and training for combat."
Boss searched through a weapons drawer. Sifting through various arms and the such. Guns, knives, you name it, Boss had it in the drawer.
Boss: "Hammer no...spear no...pistols no...scythe no...sword...no...aha! Nunchucks!"
Boss pulled out some nunchucks. Gray was surprised at the idea of using nunchucks. Especially against supposed "Anarghosts."
Gray: "Wait what?"
Boss chucked them at him and Gray struggled to catch them, juggling a bit before finally grabbing them. He looked at the nunchucks in his hands, raising an eyebrow.
Gray: "W-why nunchucks?"
Boss: "Every other weapon is used by another member of the team. Al and Lex use hammers, Blitzney uses twin pistols, Marley has a dagger and a staff that combine into a scythe, Javedyn has a spear, and Lexateel has a sword."
Gray: "So I get stuck with these?"
Boss: "Yes. You will also be given an exercise regiment. To get you into shape. But first, try to hit me with your nunchucks."
Gray: "O-okay Boss..."
Gray ran at him clumsily at Boss and swung the nunchucks but they came back at him and hit his face because he didn't know how to wield them. He fell back onto the floor and clutched his face after hitting it.
Boss: "Oh...we have a long ways to go kid."

A FEW HOURS LATER...
.
.
.
Gray was now doing push-ups with a weighted collar strapped to his neck. He was sweating and struggling. 60 kilos of pure weight around his neck as an unathletic individual was making these hurt like hell.
Boss: "Push up not down! How do you expect to work off your punishment if you can't push up with 60 kilos on your neck!"
Gray: "B-Boss, sir, this is hard..."
Boss took off the collar and out it on himself and easily did 500 push-ups in three seconds. Gray couldn't even track anything but his afterimage. Clearly, Gray had a long ways to go.
Gray: "What the...how did you do that!?"
Boss: "Part of it is being a ghost so I don't expect you to do that many that fast..."
Boss put the collar back on. The weight immediately weighing Gray down once again. His muscles straining, his feet struggled to support him.
Boss: "But I do expect 100 in 1 hour!"
Gray sighed, his soul nearly exitting his body. He was going to have to do all of those push-ups. And there was no getting out of it either.

AN HOUR LATER...
.
.
.
Gray finished one hundred 60 kilo push ups so Boss let him take a break. He gave him a purple liquid. The liquid seemed clear, yet Gray thought it held an air of weariness about it.
Gray: "What is this..."
Boss: "It's water. Ghost water anyway. It tastes nothing like water. It's basically grape juice."
Gray sipped and enjoyed it. Boss removed the coat of his suit, leaving just the white undershirt and tie on his torso. He pulled up his sleeves and stretched his arms.
Boss: "You're a real tough case kid. But I'll be lenient. After all, you are a human. But the case still stands that you need to get into shape. Luckily, the haunted atmosphere of the Ghost World actually makes human muscles grow quicker."
Gray: "How do you know that?"
Boss: "You aren't the first human to end up here kid."
Gray: "Fair point...so uh...is your name actually Boss-"
Boss: "Yes."
Gray: "Why-"
Boss: "Because I am the boss of everyone in this building..."
Gray: "So while we're talking randomly...do you have a wife."
Boss: "No. I don't have time for women."
Gray looked at him confused. He'd expected Boss to be a hit with women considering he seemed so strong.
Gray: "You seemed like the kind of guy who would. Are you lonely-"
Boss: "Oh God no. I just don't care for a relationship. Anyway, BACK TO TRAINING!!!"
Boss shoved the nunchucks into Gray's hands and Gray got up reluctantly. He got stanced up in a relatively terrible posture and began readying himself mentally.

A FEW DAYS LATER...
.
.
.
Gray had been exercising and practicing wielding nunchucks with Boss for a few weeks. And due to the nature of the Ghost World Gray had already physically grown a bit of muscle.
Boss: "Alright, you're ready for missions now that you are at the bare minimum a novice."
Boss teleported himself and Gray to a hallway full of doors. The doors totalledto six in number.
Boss: "These are all rooms where you and your coworkers live. Yours is next to Blitzney's. The rooms each have the name of their resident in the room."
Gray went to his room that was basically filled with a few things he told Boss he liked. Comics, TV, and a prepaid subscription to every streaming service. He heard a knock on his door. He opened it and it was Marley and Al.
Marley: "Hey Gray! I told ya I was gonna be your best bud so I'm here to hang out with ya!"
Al: "Same! We wanna be your friends and make sure you settle in nice to the Ghost World and working with us as punishment!"
Gray: "Oh...yeah cool...come on in!"
Gray started thinking to himself. Maybe this won't be all bad. Despite being forces to work a job that will turn out dangerous eventually, Gray was determined to get to know his coworkers. He already was befriended by two. But for now, he just hung out, unsure of what would come next.
