Gray woke up in his room. Three weeks had passed since the Scorn mission and things were back to normal. Or at least as normal as one could get in the Ghost World. Gray got up and dressed himself in a grey hoodie and jeans.
A knock was heard at his door, so he went to go see who it was. Gray turned the doorknob and opened his door, revealing Boss on the other side.
Boss: "Gray."
Gray: "H-huh? What is it Boss?"
Boss: "Downstairs. I gotta mission for you."
Gray nodded and Boss went downstairs with Gray in tow. Once downstairs, Gray noticed that Blitzney was the only other agent there. She waved at Gray, a playful smile adoring her face. Boss took a stand in his usual spot.
Boss: "You two are going to go on a mission as a duo. I received the location of an Anarghost party. And it's a fancy joint too. So, dress well. Oh and Gray take this."
Boss tossed face paint and hair dye at Gray. Gray quirked an eyebrow and looked at Boss, questioning the purpose.
Boss: "You aren't a ghost. This will make you blend in."
Gray: "Ooooooohhhh..."
Gray now understood, going to apply it and fish a fancy suit from his wardrobe.

AN HOUR LATER...
.
.
.
Gray had painted his skin a light green color, aswell as his hair. He was wearing a black tuxedo similar to Boss' but with a green tie. Blitzney had her pink lightning hair tied to a ponytail, using a rubber cord to keep her hair in place. She had a black dress and heels on. Though she still looked mostly the same.
Blitzney: "Let's go. Looking hot by the way~"
Gray blushed, though the face paint covered it. Blitzney's comment had affected him more than he would have thought. Over the past weeks, Gray had developed a discreet crush on Blitzney.
Blitzney: "Chilax Gray. Just joshing around. Let's move."
Gray: "R-right..."
They exited the Ghost Agents HQ and began walking to the location Boss gave them. They walked for nearly forty-five minutes before reaching a spot in an alley. There was a door and when opened, it led to a pretty fancy locale. Anarghosts had suits and formal wear on, partying with each other.
Blitzney: "Be discreet..."
Gray: "R-right..."
Blitzney and Gray moved into the crowd, maneuvering around some Anarghosts. They made it to a ecto-punch bowl and Blitzney poured herself a cup, taking a sip. Gray then realized...what were they even looking for?
Gray: "Hey Blitzney...what are we doing?"
Blitzney: "Intel probably...who knows..."
Then, music came on. Slow music. A bunch of male and female Anarghosts alike began to dance with each other. Blitzney was trying to hold back a laugh.
Blitzney: "These fuckers dance..."
A random Anarghost glared at Gray and Blitzney, seemingly curious why they weren't dancing. So, Blitzney grabbed Gray's hands and began randomly dancing.
Gray: "W-wha-"
Blitzney: "Play along..."
Gray stumbled, however he managed to catch himself. Slowly but surely, Blitzney and Gray were dancing somewhat in tandem. Gray put his left foot out and Blitzney her right. Gray the put a hand on her hip and spun her around. He had done dance classes for a while when he was younger.
Blitzney: "A smooth dancer! Nice!"
Blitzney stopped her twirl, falling back for Gray to catch her by the hip. He held her, both of Blitzney's feet off of the ground. Gray was blushing immensely under his face paint. In attempting to blend in, he had ended up successfully dancing with Blitzney.
The music slowed, making room for Anarghosts to start kissing each other. And so some did. Mostly those who danced in couples. Gray got even more flustered realizing to truly blend in he'd have to...he didn't even wanna picture it due to his nerves.
Blitzney put a hand on his cheek, slightly zapping Gray with a touch. Her gaze lingered on him a minute, before she was struck with a memory. Her human life. A life where she fell for a guy but ended up sad anyway. She had a trauma from love, and this dance had reactivated it.
She quickly stood regularly and speedwalked off of the dance floor. Gray looked puzzled and reached out. Quickly, he decided to follow her. Some Anarghosts watched the scene with curiosity.
Anarghost: "The fuck did that guy do?"
Blitzney rushed off to a bathroom, looking in the mirror. Gray walked in after her, the bathroom not really having a label so he had no idea. He contemplated leaving because of how bad this would look, however Blitzney took precedent right now.
She was staring into the mirror, her eyes focused. She saw flashes of her human self. A pale girl with similar fashion sense and black hair with pink streaks. Blue eyes that lit up darkness. However, she wasn't that person anymore. A sigh escaped her ghostly lips.
Gray: "B-Blitzney...you okay?"
Blitzney: "No...Gray...I try to forget it all the time..."
Gray: "Forget wh-"
Blitzney: "What I was before this."
Blitzney used her hands to outline her form, the ghostly body she took on after her human demise.
Blitzney: "And I'm not dense...you like me...but stear clear Gray..."
Gray: "I-I- So what if I am...why should I steer clear."
Blitzney: "Gray just- No...you deserve the story. The story of the..."person" I was...and how I ended up in the old GW..."
