Cries echoed in the hall as more people's flooded in. The air was gloomy and depressing and the heavy rain seemed to complement the atmosphere.
Suddenly, the hall fell silent. It was so silent that if a pin was the dropped it would be heard, so silent that the squeaks of the mouses who had ran into the hall to the take cover from the rain could be heard.
Everyone turned to look at a girl who was standing by the doorway, drenched from head to toe and holding a bouquet of flowers.
Her icy blue eyes held a lot of emotions and her lips quivered as if she had been crying. She was dressed in a black gotten and had a matching black coat on.
She took off the coat's hoodie revealing her soft and curly Hazel brown hair which had managed to stay out of the water.
Everyone watched as she hung her coat on the coat rack and strode over to the front.
She noticed how everyone quickly made way for hey mid glares and even heard some people paying some mean comments.
She got to the front where a picture was placed and dropped the bouquet right in front of the picture.
The lady in the picture shared some similarities in their facial features. Though they were not totally identical, one could tell that they were related.
"Sister" she muttered earning herself scoffs from the onlookers. She however ignored them and grazed the picture with the tip of her finger.
"Why?" That was the only thing she could say. A drop of tear rolled down her cheek as that night's events began to replay in her head.
"She's such a good actress"
"Who's she fooling with her crocodile tears?"
"Why did she come here in the first place"
"I always knew she was evil from day one"
"Murderer"
There last comment made Ellen sharp and she spun around angrily. "I'm not a murderer!" She growled loudly. It was so loud that all the mice ran out in far of the unknown, so loud that the sleeping pups present woke up and began to cry.
"Look what you did!" A mother yelled, Ellen shot her a glare which sent shivers to get spine and the woman fled from the hall with her pup.
Everyone began to leave one after the other, leaving mean remarks and mumbling incoherent words as the went.
When collapsed to the floor as soon as they were all gone and began to cry. She had spent all night crying but the tears never seemed to stop.
She decided to go to her sister's remembrance hoping it would make her feel better but it only made her feel worse.
She wondered when the pack would finally believe her and stop treating her like an outcast.
After what happened at the cliff a year ago, Ellen's world tore apart. All her friends distanced themselves from her, the whole pack keeps accusing her off murdering her sister, even get in father didn't believe her.
Who was she going to explain to that she hasn't killed her sister and it was her sister who even tried to kill her? Who would believe her?
She had no one who could stand as her witness..... Except, that mysterious man that saved her, but she hadn't set her eyes on him since that day and doesn't even remember what he looked like anymore.
She looked up at her sister's picture and more tears streamed out of her eyes. Even though she was no longer alive
, she was still making Ellen's life miserable.
