"Uhh....who?" Rein whose confusion is apparent replies after the grand reveal of Alesteir.
Alesteir frowns, to think that someone wouldn't recognize him. He built this city brick by brick and now people seem to have forgotten all about him.
"How come you do not know me? Does the educational institutions not teach you of our history?" He rambles clearly feeling wronged about the whole thing.
"No matter, what's important right now is for you to understand what your future will be." Alesteir tells Rein after he had calmed down.
"You are not human anymore Rein, at least not completely. That night when you were being chased by the creature, which we call Sins, you have died." Alesteir continues.
"How does that make sense? How can I have died but be alive? Stop talking nonsense!" Rein agitatedly replies.
"When one of my agents found you, you have already finished your metamorphosis. The creature who was trying to kill you had its essence absorbed by you, using it to fuel your evolution." Alesteir calmly explains.
Rein didn't reply after all he still cannot wrap his head around the fact that he died and now he was told that he is no longer completely human, that he had gone through some sort of evolution.
"I think it's better for you to see it yourself. The changes you have gone through is astounding, you will see." Alesteir states with a smile, clearly noticing Rein's deep confusion.
After which Alesteir waves his hand and then the world shifted. It started to expand while the surroundings started changing into some sort of testing facility.
Rein who is caught off guard of the sudden transformation panicked. His head looked left and right looking for a way out.
"Relax Rein, nothing bad's going to happen." Marcus called out to Rein to calm him down.
Rein looks over to the Sereza familynoticing that all of them seems to be unsurprised by what is happening. He is starting to see his adoptive family in another light, unsure of what he should feel.
Forcibly calming himself he starts to observe what is happening in the room. In just about a few seconds the whole changed into a completely white square room.
"We will conduct a series of physical test to determine your physical level. First is the strength test." Alesteir explains.
A block of stone then raised up from the ground, it is of pure black color with some engraved text on its surface.
"Rein I want you to punch or kick the pillar." Alesteir commands Rein as he moves a bit farther, away from Rein and the stone.
"Punch it? Alright then."
Finally given up about figuring things out for now he assumes the standard combat stance developed by the City.
His right foot in front with the left foot in the back in parallel to the right foot. His arms steady and parallel to his shoulder.
He readies himself as he takes a deep breath and put weight into his right foot while twisting his hips to the right, his left arm flies through the air.
The wind whistles as his fist comes into contact with the stone, a resounding bang echoes out throughout the entire room.
'What? I'm definitely faster than normal and the force of that punch it shouldn't be possible for a normal person to do. Did I really change?' Rein thought just as his fist connected.
The stone suddenly lit up of different colors, blue, yellow, orange and red. It continuously flashes of different colors until it stays with the color orange.
"Quite impressive, to think that you would reach orange. I knew you were different but not to this extent. Alright let's proceed." Alesteir says with a hint of surprise.
And for the next 10 mins Rein undergoes a multitude of tests, speed, agility, reaction time and endurance. Each test resulting in different results. The most impressive of his result is his reaction time and endurance.
He had managed to dodge 147 balls that's going for 5 m/s and he withstood a force of a cannonball hitting his body.
Drenched in sweat, Rein plops down on the ground. Taking a break after an extensive test.
"Alright I think it's time for you to get your answers Rein." Alesteir waves his hand again and they were back inside the room they first been in.
"I want you to listen carefully Rein, this is going to be long."

In the beginning Earth is just a lonesome planet. Filled with beasts and plants long extinct. The beasts eat the plants and the remains of the beasts turn into fertilizer for the plants. And this the cycle continues until that cursed thing appeared.
It was thought to be a simple rock, an asteroid in the process of turning into a satellite for earth. But it was something else, it was the herald of calamity.
Its appearance brought the end of the cycle. The earth shifts, the sea churns and the sky splits. The Orb of Crisis it was called, raining down pieces of itself bringing with it the creatures that still walk this Earth, the Sins.
They are the personification of the various calamities that it had wrought to other planets before Earth. It was a mimicry of life, life made with malice all for the purpose of destruction.
Centuries passed before Earth has managed to create something to counter the anti-life brought by Orb of Crisis. Humans, we have been created to save Earth from its tormentors.
The first of the humans are the purest of all. They are five times stronger than current humans. And when the first of the Sins fell the humans underwent another evolution.
Using the corrupt power of the Sins and purifying it with the Earth's gift humans have been able to harness the power of the cosmos itself.
And thus the war for Earth's survival was eternally present.

"So I am one of those humans now? Am I damned to fight for the rest of my life?" Rein asks his eyes unsure.
"Life has always been a fight Rein, if the Sins did not exist we would still be fighting against nature, against ourselves." Alesteir answers looking a bit regretful.
"You are a Vicer now Rein but that doesn't mean you can't live a life of your own. I just want you to know that." Alesteir continues.
Rein nods as he thinks of what will be. Will he still be alive by the next few years? Or when will the next calamity coming?
"Rein, I want to extend an invitation to you. It is a recommendation for you to join the best place for you to learn and adjust to your new life. Forget the life you have had and look forward to a future you will shape." Alesteir declares as he stands up.
"But the recommendation does not mean that you will be admitted immediately, you will have to go through the entrance exam the same way the other youths do. And for that you need training." Alesteir continues as he hand a letter to Rein.
The letter is sealed by some odd wax, even the paper is made of an unusually durable material.
"Think about it, you can contact me by telling Trevor. Do not rush this Rein, regrets often come late." He walks out of the room, leaving a final advice to the now conflicted Rein.
Rein stands up and walks closer toward the Sereza family. They look at him with a concerned gaze. They have been keeping this secret from Rein for many years, even the twins have been in the know for years now.
"Let's go home auntie, uncle." Rein asks as he looks at them with a bitter smile.
"Yeah, home sounds great." Trevor smiles, although a bit regretful. He knows that what they had done and it's consequences, they just hope that Rein understands.
