Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

"Faora! Test his strength!" Zod reminded, his expression serious. He crossed his arms and watched, a look of anticipation in his eyes.

High above Gotham City, satellites recorded everything. The President, watching the live feed, looked tense.

"Why is she heading for the roof of the Daily Planet building? Is this young man also a superpowered being?"

Clark landed on the roof and glared at Faora.

"You can't take them on alone. Let's join forces!" he shouted.

Chu Mo didn't even look at him. Two golden symbols glowed in his eyes.

"Playing tricks?" Faora sneered, preparing to punch Chu Mo in the face. But as soon as the golden symbols touched them, a crackling sound echoed.

Faora's mocking expression froze, and in an instant, her world turned dark. She disintegrated into a fine dust.

"Huh? Where did she go?" Clark was stunned, staring at the scattered dust on the roof. For a moment, he was completely confused.

"Is she... dead?" He looked at Chu Mo in shock.

Chu Mo remained silent, his gaze fixed on the Kryptonian spacecraft in the distance.

"Faora's life signs are gone," one of Zod's men aboard the ship reported.

Zod swallowed hard, stunned. "Faora... is dead?"

The remaining Kryptonians were chilled to the bone, unable to comprehend what they had just witnessed.

"Faora didn't even have a chance to move!" They muttered in horror.

Back at headquarters, the President's face was pale. "Who... is he?"

The senior generals stared, stunned. The alien threat that had once been so terrifying had been snuffed out by two glowing symbols in the young man's eyes.

Around the world, people were glued to their cell phones, watching the live broadcast. The alien that had seemed unstoppable only moments before was no more.

On the rooftop of the Daily Planet, the young man had destroyed it without moving.

Watching on his cell phone, Batman felt his hands shake. He realized that the Joker's words about Chu Mo's power were not an exaggeration.

They had thought that Chu Mo might be as strong as Superman, but this... this was beyond their wildest expectations.

Diana, the Amazon warrior, held her phone and felt a chill run down her spine. The memory of her last encounter with Chu Mo was vivid and she felt a strange mixture of fear and relief.

Clark looked at Chu Mo in awe. "Are... are you really my uncle?" he asked.

Chu Mo gave him a quick look. "No."

Clark looked disappointed. Seeing Chu Mo's strength, he had hoped for an alliance. But now he realized why Chu Mo had refused before; with such overwhelming power, there was no need for an alliance.

Inside the Kryptonian ship, General Zod's mind raced. These symbols... they seemed familiar. He thought back to the ancient forbidden texts he'd seen on Krypton.

"Could this be... the Anti-Life Equation?" he whispered to himself, remembering its terrifying powers to control or destroy.

"General, perhaps we should retreat," one of his subordinates suggested nervously.

"Our plans to rebuild Krypton can wait."

Zod turned to him with a wry smile. "Retreat? You think he's going to let us escape now?"

Back on the rooftop, Chu Mo was just as surprised. He had activated the Anti-Life Equation, choosing destruction just to test it, and the Kryptonian had disintegrated in an instant.

Now he fully understood why Darkseid was so desperate to find it.

Chu Mo leaped across the cityscape and landed at the entrance of the Kryptonian spacecraft.

The Anti-Life Equation surged again, melting the door like snow under hot water. He stepped inside.

"He's here!" cried one of Zod's men in horror. The rest of the Kryptonians stared, trembling. The urge to kneel before him was overwhelming.

"Hello, General Zod," Chu Mo said calmly as the Kryptonians looked on, frozen in fear.
