Saturday 9th June.
"Where is she?"
"Your majesty the princess hasn't gotten up from..." Grace was trying to convince Mom not to step into my bedroom.
"What's going on?" I asked; this must be serious because it was the first time I had seen the queen in her nightwear.
"You excuse for a child, what do you think you are doing?" She walked to my bed and grabbed me by my hair.
"How dare you embarrass me in front of everyone like that?" She began to pull my hair making me fall off from my bed.
"Stop it." I slapped her hands off my hair as I got up. 'Ouch,' I brushed my knee on the floor, and I could see a blood spot on the knee area of my dress.
"How dare you remove...."
"Put your hands on me again; I promise you will regret it." I firmly stood my ground.
"I dare you, you are begging me to dispose your title" she began again with her fake threat.
"Dispose of it!" I was no longer scared of her or her words.
"My princess, are you in any danger?" The royal guard walked in on us bickering.
"Get her out of here" I commanded the guard.
"My Qué..."
"Oh, how I wish you were never born!" She stated as she walked away from my room, this wasn't her side of the palace, and as the one with royal blood, I was to be protected before anyone else.
That's not a nice thing to say to your child, and if I had a dollar every time she said something terrible to me, I would be a flipping millionaire by now.
"Your Highness," Idar rushed into my room.
"I am fine, you don't have to worry about me," I said as I hopped on one foot to my bed.
"It can only get better from here," she said as she raised my nightwear trousers to expose the wound.
"Grace, the first aid kit" she ordered.
"What's going on? What happened?" I asked in total confusion, what did I do to her?
"You don't know? Haven't you seen the news?" Idar asked.
"What news?" I quickly stretched my hands to get my phone from underneath my pillow.
"Princess Diana of land already finds another sutor," the headline reads, and there was a blurry picture of Winter and me, his hands wrapped around my shoulder with his jacket as he was helping get into the car after our date last night.
"Oh," I tossed my phone back to bed and placed my hands on my chest as it was Bagan to race; who took that picture of us? But he said it was private property.
"Now you understand why she was mad at you," Idar said as she placed the bandage on my knee.
"Thanks," I said as I spread my hands on my bed. "Nothing justifies why she is mad," I said to myself as Idar walked out of the room; the run was already peeking through my window, lighting up its trail, and my entire room.
"Princess, don't tell me you are going for breakfast like that," Lina asked as I was still in my pajamas.
"Yes, I am hungry, and I don't have time to wear a costume and play pretend today." I stepped out of my room and began to walk to the dining hall.
"Princess" Lina kept calling me.
"What is she wearing?"
"Is she alright?" I could hear the maids and the help whispering as I walked past them, don't they know that?
"Good morning, princess," the table greeted as I walked in; Fred's family was still around.
"Finally, the princess is here," Mom said angrily as the kitchen staff went to get our starter course.
"Morning," I answered as I sat down to eat, I looked around, and Dad wasn't seated. I guess that's why Mom sounded bitter because I would be the one too...
"Your majesty, please move to the throne chair," the royal chef said as he came out with the dish.
"Where is your crown? You can not sit there without it." She looked pained; her seat was to my right, and there was nothing she could do about it.
"It was never about the crown because if it was, you would be the one sitting here," I heard mumbling as I sat down on the chair; I bet she wasn't expecting me to clap back.
"How dare you speak to the Queen in such a tone, you whore" Hajara, Fred's mom, yelled from across the table.
"That's no way to talk to a princess" I responded to her.
"Seems like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," Deeja cheered with a hustle tone; it seems like everyone was pissed.
"Shall we?" I said as we began to eat.
"So due to some issues, we've decided to postpone the wedding to the next year," Hajara said.
"Haha," What type of comedy show am I on? What wedding?
"Did anyone tell a joke? Because I don't understand why Miss Entitled is laughing," Deeja said; she did not just call me entitled; what was I entitled to? The crown? It's mine silly.
"Yeah, due to what's going on the internet, I think that would be best,t," my mom added.
"Oh, you all are hilarious; please stop it," I said as I continued to laugh out loud.
"Who is laughing with you?" My mom said.
"Mtcheeeewww" Deeja hissed.
"Watch your tone, missy," I said.
"This is just a big misunderstanding; we would sort it out ourselves," Fred said; he finally had the balls to speak.
"Oh, so you all are serious," I responded.
"None of this would be happening if you did not decide to act like a prostitute," Deeja said in a snarky tone.
"Get out, get out now!" How dare she call me a prostitute? Me? How stupid does she think I am? After all, Fred did to me.
"Guards!" I yelled at the top of my voice as my hands began to shake. 'Don't cry, don't cry,' I mumbled some words of encouragement to myself as the atmosphere felt tense.
"Oh, I wish you were never born!" Deeja said as she stormed off with the royal guards escorting her out.
"Or maybe you just died at birth," Ojaiz, who had been sitting quietly, said as she stormed off after her sister.
"Maybe you would have been better off as a boy," Hajara said as she also followed.
"Shame on you, look at what you caused," Mom said as she walked out on me.
"Well, I guess it's just..."
"Leave." I cut Fred off before he finished his sentence; my voice was shaky. It felt like something was holding my throat.
"What a lovely way to start my day" I mumbled as I dried my eyes from the little tears forming.
Here I am again, feeling like the bad guy.
