Huff!! Huff!
*Taking his punches and kicks, I felt overwhelmed by the sheer skill and power he showed. His movement was bizarre in every manner. *
*I don't think I can keep up with this much longer. If I need to strike him down into my little piggy bank, I must drive it through with style. *
Thwack!!
*Yes!! A punch went in, I got a clean hit. My hands are throbbing with pain, why does his body feel like steel? Tenacious bastard tch! *, Thawne scorns.
"Let's go all out", Draven smiles.
"Athena's Aegis!!!"
Thawne stumbles and regains his stead. Shocked by the amassing concentration of power within the boy's arm, he shrugs off the idea of attacking once more.
*I can't just head in senselessly, that guy is just insane!! How does he expect me to block that? Never mind, I'm running out of here! *
Thawne turns sharply to sprint for an escape. However, in an overwhelming aura, Draven concentrates his mana within his thighs and leaps forth for the final attack.
His body sprang forth like a shooting star, and the bright light sent sparks of fire through the air. It was a skill Draven was proud of, the best he had mastered in his current age.
Dipping every drop of mana into the final strike, Draven's skill blossomed in a staggering display of art and might. His speed had breached the rational heights, and after a few steps, the noble drew close to Woodlock.
*Just how did he get close to me this fast? I have to block this; my senses are warning me it's deadly. Too deadly to take in!!*, Thawne grinned.
Tch!!
Boom!!
Cough cough!!! Huff!
"Impossible! Just how were you able to….", Draven stuttered.
Holding the noble's fist firmly within his grasp, Thawne coughed blood as an aftereffect of the shockwave. He was already injured, and the duel just worsened his earlier wounds.
In a smirk, he sighed at Ashwood and nodded his head in pride. Surprised by his feat of blocking the punch of a knight his age, Thawne staggered in pain with words oblivious of his dire situation.
"Because I am also a prodigy, bastard.", Thawne glared.
Thud!!
"He fainted??", Draven stammered.
Draven held his head in shock, and in a burst of laughter, he shook his troubles away. The child he fought was worthy as a guard, and the oracle's directions surely mended their fates together.
"I guess our journey begins today, brave kid."
After a few tries, Draven finally gives up on the thought of carrying Thawne to the castle and drags him instead. The knights at the gate of the mansion panic when they realize the young master dragging Thawne through the ground.
A knight confronts Draven, and in a worried manner, he asks for a word with the noble. Draven nods in acceptance and offers the length of his patience to the words of the knight.
"Young master, dragging a kid your age into the mansion is bad manners."
"Mmm but he's strong enough to survive that, and I already tried carrying him."
"Uhh strong enough??"
Looking at the dirt upon Draven's attire, the knight steps back in shock. The young master being beaten by a kid his age was strange, as he was one of the Seven great prodigies at thirteen.
Nevertheless, the knight offers a hand in helping the kid to the Manor. After a few steps, Draven turns to his knight and sighs in disgust.
"Do well to pick up my cousin, he got himself beat up today too. I have no patience nor time to meddle with the affairs of the weak.", he glared.
With a salute, the knight sped off to bring back Von. Thawne was sent to the quarters of the Baron as ordered and lay within the bed of guests.
The night drew near quickly, and as such the town of Blackwood dreamt under the curtains of the dark. Thawne rolled effortlessly on the bed, but in a terrific state, he grew tense.
"Crazy bastard!!", Thawne yelled.
Spouting those as his first words from a bad dream, Thawne felt awkward. The environment was new to him, and in curiosity and dismay, he glanced through the grand room.
"Seems you are quite ferocious as my brother discussed. I didn't expect cussing as the first thing from a guest, hahaha."
Woodlock turned sharply, and by him sat a girl noble and elegant. She held a cup of coffee in her hand and sipped slowly in patience. The cold and dark night drew the strangers together with an awkward gust of wind.
"It sure is cold in here, might be better if I close the curtains. Don't you think?", she smiled gleamingly.
Thawne was captivated by her beauty and stared as she rose to the window. Yet in a sudden outburst of realization, he questioned her origins.
"Who… are you?, Thawne blushed.
"The firstborn of the house of Ashwood, Seraphina Ashwood. I know it might be sudden, but I simply came in to greet our noble guest.", she replied.
"Just how did I get here? I need to get back to my master, he's probably worried sick about my disappearance.", Thawne affirmed.
Rising from the bed, he removed the blanket and dropped unto the ground to leave. Seraphina turned towards the door and stared at Thawne, with bright blue eyes and Auburn hair which displayed her striking features.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you.", she giggled.
Thawne looked downwards in curiosity and leaped back in fright. Covering his lower body with the coverings of the bed in a swift manner, he blushed at being ripped naked into bed.
"Just who did this to me? Don't you understand a man should be wed before he is deflowered!!", Thawne blushed.
Seraphina smiled and stormed off, with her eyes of curiosity peeking through the edge of the door. She stood at the exit in wait for her last words and brushed her garment elegantly.
"Perhaps we might spend more time together, servant of my brother. Maybe then, you should put on neat clothes to prevent being stripped naked", she scoffed.
Thump!!
"Did she just….. No, no way!"
