Chapter 20 - 011C

Experiment 011-C: The Influence of Past Guilt

Objective: To explore how individuals with a guilty past (e.g., crimes, immoral actions) respond to seeing their future through SCP-699.

Procedure:

Select individuals: Choose a group of individuals who have committed serious past transgressions (e.g., criminals, people with deep regrets) and a control group without past violations.

Experiment: Individuals will enter SCP-699 for approximately 30 minutes.

Observation: Monitor emotional and mental changes after witnessing their future, focusing on guilt and regret.

Results:

Those with past criminal or immoral actions often struggle when facing their future, experiencing intense guilt and regret.

Some individuals were heavily affected, seeking redemption or trying to rectify past mistakes immediately after leaving SCP-699.

Individuals without a guilty past generally experienced fewer negative effects, though they still expressed concerns about their future decisions.
